I am forming a 501(c)(3) and moving a lot of my work into a charitable purpose, which will include fighting against network level censorship.

Think EFF, but without this guy:

Though the EFF has a legal orientation and I'm more interested in actually building services that people can use.

To accomplish this, I need a third person willing to sign on the board. This is a full on association with me, name attached, SSN signed over to the IRS for the tax-exempt status of the company. This person would have responsibilities and liabilities related to the charity.

Preferably, this person would actually have insight into the industry and have a willingness to do good and the competency to achieve it. They do not have to be American.

Accepting names.

What responsibilities are typically involved in the position?
Legally, there's a lot to be aware of. Pay attention to the three duties.

Technically, at least immediately, there's nothing I need done that I can't do, so whatever you can bring is a benefit. The guy who is already volunteering is very tech savvy and I would like to use him to manage projects (sort of a CTO), whereas I can manage finances very well and have the idea of what I want to do (CFO/COO).

A good pick would be someone who has experience with copyright and administrative law.

That's great information, thanks!

Hey Null,

I can definitely fill the role if you can't find any else to do so. I currently run 2 forums (1 which is the controversial incels.is forum in Community Watch) and Looksmax.

I resigned from SS at the end of 2021 after the NYT doxxed me.

I have lots of experience with navigating around hosting controversial legal forums and websites and have done so for the past 5 years and counting. I have experience as a sysadmin for multiple years in the industry and from personal experience from running multiple large forums.

If you don't mind working with someone that has ran a forum such as SS, then I'd be more than happy to take up the mantle. Considering I have already been doxxed, I wouldn't mind helping.

I should've start to look into getting involved with these kind of activities, but I'm unsure of myself as of now.

Der ewige Antifaschistische. What a pathetic soycuck.

Accepting names.
I have some in my mind, but they might not be what you're looking for. One is the "Internet Social Discution Foundation", another is the "Digital Deliberation Foundation", and lastly, the "Strawberry Online Speach Group", because strawberries pair with kiwis.

Sadly I have no applicable skills or experience to donate but I would like to remind you that running a charity requires a lot of reputation and people that others are willing to be associated with. Personally I think you need a squeaky clean guy as your third. If it's you and the suicide site guy no one is gonna wanna do anything with you.

You need someone corporate people are cool being in photos with and shaking hands.
