Even DPSgaming would make fun of Jack for being a loser that loses his savings to kids playing RuneScape.

I dunno man.

If you compare the two BMJ probably comes out in top.

Phil wasted 5-6 figures “gambling” on sweaty JPEGs.

BMJ at least theoretically can pull a profit. Phil never will.

Any bets on what BMJ is going to do when it's time to file his tax return? His losses are only deductible up to his winnings, and he also gets free money in addition to that which is taxable. There's no way he keeps the records to properly determine this as well as capital gains and losses from his cryptocurrency transactions.

My guess is he will do nothing and complain when bad things happen as a result.
Alas, the tax Jews care more about you and I who earn their money the normal way than someone like BMJ.

He’s too small and flies under the radar, and it’s not like they can out a lien on him, so not really worth the IRS’s efforts.

I think he can claim he’s a professional gambler and there’s special rules for that. Since he loses all his money, he might be okay except for what he actually withdraws which should be reported as self employment income.

Professional gamblers still can't deduct net gambling losses. Like if you earn $100 from your streaming audience sending you money, you gamble it and you win $1000 from a bet and then immediately lose $1100 because you're BMJ, you still have $100 of taxable income.

This seems to be a good summary of the tax situation. There is no way he's doing any of the things required. I still think if anything gets him, it'll be the crypto part.

  • Keep records of all wins, losses, and expenses related to gambling
  • Show a pattern of improvement by winning more over time
  • Clearly separate gambling from other recreational activities
  • Put in many hours in order to improve your gambling ability
  • Interact frequently with people in the industry
  • Develop a positive reputation in gambling
  • Maintain credit card and bank records of money spent at gambling establishments
  • Store forms given to you by gambling establishments when you win over a certain amount
  • Save dated parking tickets, hotel reservations, and meal receipts from gambling trips

I know it would kill the mood but can't BMJ get a tard wrangler who will stop him when he's up. Kinda like when you have your AA friends come to your home to dump your booze. Nah, who am I kidding, those rat fucking people live in poverty. Scared money gets no money, and now one tells the bossman what's good or he'll face the wrath of his fist like his wall.
Gee I dunno… Maybe heroin addicts could get a tard wrangler to stop them from getting high?

The guy is an addict. What makes it funny is that he has zero impulse control.

It’s not about the cash for him, it’s about the high he gets. If he got a wrangler he’d wait until they’re asleep and get his dopamine hit.

He'd probably start gambling on the shitter or in the shower. If it's good enough for lawyers it's good enough for me.

Kick was shitting bricks hard earlier and it logged Bossman out while he was trying to setup his stream. I clipped this as the look on his face is priceless when the Kick login page glitches out and he thinks he's banned

I just like how he thinks he’s banned and is still talking to chat about it lmao

There's no way Austin is filing taxes at all. Let's not forget his Stake subscribers income. But Austin literally won't even file taxes. Will he get away with it? I don't know how effective simply not filing taxes is but I do know it's not something I would try myself.

That’s a tough tax question that would need a subject matter expert to explain. I think it might fall under like YouTuber stuff like it’s a cost of his streaming business? I think he’s screwed when it comes to anything he withdrew but might not be totally hosed when it comes to gambling wins/losses.

I doubt he is on their radar...although you never know.

But he probably needs to send out a w9 form to his drug dealer as I imagine he owes about $50,000 in unpaid state sales tax from the quantity of drugs he buys from his dealer.

The ones I underline made me laugh because they aren’t at all the case. I doubt stake sends out tax forms, he has a terrible reputation, and he’s not getting better at gambling. I think he could maybe try claiming this is actually just incidental to his streaming business?

The appeal is that Lossman CANNOT FUCKING STOP GAMBLING WHEN AT THE TOP and loses completely everything, turning him into a crackheaded, chromosomated to shit and back, version the sysyphus myth, take your rat stone, roll it up the hill, only to be trampled by it rolling down the hill, breaking the few bones that somehow went unscathed on the way up, this, ON THE DAILY, with much less wear than IP2 creatures or onlyuseme, but on the exact same crack-good for nothing-life on the edge tier.

The only thing I can think he's doing is keeping records of his W/L rate, just because he constantly tapes himself. Even then he does gamble off camera, so... I guess he's just gonna have to hope Uncle Sam don't notice

His main problem will be that he's gambling on Stake.us. Stake.us is legally not a gambling site, but a sweepstakes site. He's taking part in sweepstakes, and not online gambling. To be considered a professional gambler he would have to play on Stake.com or a real irl casino, but Stake.com is not licensed in most of the US so he's legally not allowed to play on their site.

For all the new people here, reminder he won like $50,000 USD and then just kept redepositing it in piece by piece nonstop over a couple days til he hit $0
People always increase the timespan of this event. It was a 63k high and it wasn't over a couple of days. I archived both the the high when it happened at around 7 or 8 pm and him losing the last depo, which was an hour or two after I woke up. It was barely 12 hours

Just remembered, it was a 61k high. 48k on stake 13k withdrawal. Even I've been gaslit by all the fake news

I try to avoid talking too much about him getting in trouble for taxes/crypto stuff because there are a couple ways weens could get him shut down that are slightly more complicated than just reporting him to the IRS. I don't want to start giving people ideas.

Doesn't help that Bossman himself has repeated dozens of different versions of the story.

Imagine being BossDad and getting an email from the IRS saying your son owes like $20,000 in taxes from donations alone lmao
As his parents are the biggest enablers I've ever witnessed (like buying him a 1500 USD phone, because his old one doesn't "charge properly anymore") I am sure his parents would take care of it as well. Really good for us for the content, but kinda fucked up if you think about it.
