It's pretty simple, they're people who grew up miserable, lonely, bullied, and ate their feelings instead of improving themselves. Both of them have expressed it, Chantal desperately wanted the attention of males in school but her friends would get it, not her. Boogie always wanted to fuck "LA 10s" but he never had women even glance in his direction. Add-in a large online following and now they're not the retard fat kids in the corner crying into their bucket of fried chicken, they're the highly coveted special person that people interact with.

I've lurked on this thread for over a year, I became aware of Chantal and hooked ever since she featured on the front page at the same time as me! It's been wild.

Just want to make 2 observations:

1. The "preparing to fly to Kuwait" video was tragi-comic. I got the strong feeling that Chantal knew that she most likely wouldn't ever be coming back to her home town again, which is why she took us on a nostalgia tour of all the most important places to her throughout her life in Cornwall. Burger King, McDonalds and ending up in the home.

If you listen, the tone of voice was resigned. It was like she was compelled to go one last time and say goodbye.

2. FFG - Chantal doesn't have the vocabulary to describe FFG's behaviour as anything other than "psychotic" and "insane" without explaining why.

I once gave FFG £5 for saving the cat, but I have to admit her behaviour, while providing content, is borderline stalking.

Driving an hour in order to get definite proof that someone has been buying weed (which as Chantal points out is perfectly legal), question store employees, is an unacceptable invasion of privacy. It's a bit like someone following me around the supermarket to see if I'm secretly buying condoms, or judge what I put in my trolley, asking the cashier if I ever donate to the food bank or coming to my church to see if I really do play the organ at every Mass, to "catch me out."

I understand why FFG did it, Chantal is a source of income for her, it's a business opportunity and hilarious clout, but at the end of the day, Chantal isn't a political figure trying to change policy or law and FFG isn't an investigative journalist.

Even if people do over share too much and make spectacles of themselves on the internets for us to laugh at, we're all allowed some private time.

Sure both Chantal and FFG are grifting for the superchats and views but at least they aren't deceiving anyone that it's for anyone other than themselves.

I am still at the point of hoping that Chantal can salvage her health and sort herself out.

The thing is, that Chantal is not only oversharing, its her job being an online person and people doesnt watch her because shes a nice woman. The reason why a lot of people enjoy her being caught out on this, is because shes spent a year larping as a devout muslim, who would never and when she outs herself(she posted her rage vefore Ffg) its suddenly no big deal.
Its sweet karma and hilarious af and all of this has catapulted Ffg into the meadow, with our other cows. All in all, a win for us farmers.
