Unlikely, I'd say. First off, Phil is always lazy. Also, I think he even knows that if he tries faking it, there's no way he can cover all the tracks.

My guess is Phil will just continue the story he said with Side Scrollers. He plays and spends a bit of money here and there. He can't show his account because protect my family, detractors will say I'm lying anyway, blahblahblah.

Calling someone an ahnline warrior and bitching about ahnline khambos and ahnline mixups shows how stuck in the past piggy is. It used to be a common and valid insult 10+ years ago when most fighting games still used delay-based netcode which would legitimately let you get away with certain mix-ups, setups, moves etc. online due to the inbuilt delay. Now that everyone and their mother has finally implemented rollback it's not an issue due to the way rollback works, so pro players can not play a single game in person and still do good in tournaments.

And what I find even funnier: Phil calls Lily "low tier" while I recently watched a Justin Wong video titled "Lily is my best character now" Fucking lol. The clownmode at the start of the video is something else.

This playthrough is absolutely miserable. Old school RE and Phil simply doesn't mix. Like Phil and stealth games, and shooters, and racing games, and......well any game that isn't gatcha really

So I never played RE0, is it possible to get softlocked like you can in RE3? If you are a mongoloid with your resouces?

This is something I thought about in the last days as well.
Lets look at the characters he uses in SF6.
Blanka
Dhalsim
Lily
Zangief
Honda

He likes to say over and over again that he "likes to challenge himself" and to play "reactionairy" while in reality every one of these characters rely on their command throw mix-ups or guessing game.
Things which actually would have an advantage in bad netcode situation.

Now compare that to the times he played characters like Chun or Aki who rely heavily on execution.

Yes, it's still a classic RE game which means that there's a limited amount of ink ribbons to save with, I think he plays on hard which I believe has 35 ink ribbons. Herb and ammo pickups are rarer as well in hard mode if I remember correctly.

When he says that he likes to play "oddball characters" to "challenge himself" what he really means is that he wants to play characters that have bullshit that noobs can't deal with well so he can sidestep having to learn fundamentals, you know the thing he brags about having. Though his definition of "oddball" also includes Grug Smash-style characters who are slow as fuck but can get a shitton of damage from single hits or short, easy to do khambos. Those are the characters that he really likes the most. His worst winrate is with Ryu who is the most honest motherfucker in that game, can do a bit of everything and isn't really that execution heavy in my experience. That speaks volumes really. I mean I play Lei in Tekken who is a real oddball and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't get a shitton of wins purely because my opponent just didn't know what the fuck to do, especially from 6 onwards where they really went balls to the wall with the amount of stance transitions and new moves from stances that crush highs or lows or sabakis punches or whatever the fuck else.

Im gonna put my conspiracy cap on.

I believe that the reason why dsp has started to do trends(late though) and rebranding his dead channels is because his spendings in general have increased or he's strapped for money. I do believe going forward that dsp will get into trends/things that otherwise he wouldnt normally do like: political discussions, model kit building(god no), tierlists, anime reviews, etc. Now as the years progress i predict that he will try to expand(and fail) his business because the reality of "i need to save money for retirement because i cant do this shit forever" kicks in. Mind you he has stated that he believes he will be streaming till he dies. He's getting older and games are getting faster for him, eventually his streams will be just him talking to the camera reminding his dents that he needs money for meds this week, so like his prestreams but cranked to 11.

This is exactly it, whenever he's played a Chun in SF6 he always mentions how far she can grab you from implying that her grab hits from a larger distance than the rest of the cast which is not true. She has the same grab distance as everyone else except for Zangief but in SF2T her grab was broken and could hit you from further away.

All of his fighting game knowledge comes from that one game and has never been updated. There was a video floating around detractor circles last year which showed in depth how broken SF2T was and someone made Dave react to it on his react show and he found no issue with any of things that were clearly broken.

For all his whining about wanting a skill based fighting game he actually just wants a broken mess that he can abuse noobs with. Which is why he plays all the oddball characters and whenever he tried to play one of the normal characters like Luke he got his shit kicked in.
