Had a late thought regarding Nick disliking this thread. Most who have posted opinions on the issue have been in agreement that Nick drove the direction of the thread & not vice versa.
Nonetheless, Nick hates the thread. We’ve all heard his bitching & moaning about it, no summary needed here.

The point is, if Nick finds himself being documented in the thread so terrible, one would think, he’d make sure to be extra careful about shielding those he loves from enduring the same.
Yet, he’s done the opposite. While it is true that Kayla put herself out there in certain ways, she does have some plausible deniability as to not being aware of what she was getting into. For sure there is a component of him targeting already unlikeable people but I think it’s more like he got the benefit of the doubt before. Back when his jokes seemed like actual jokes, and at the end of the day he was a reasonable person. Now he’s known as deeply dishonest and that stuff can’t just be laughed at, you have to think about what he’s saying, because he’s hiding something or means it.

His recent Stephen Hawking tangent was actually pretty amusing to me if I viewed it in a vacuum, it’s the first time in a long time I was reminded of what I liked about his old content. I think if he’d said all that in the past it would’ve played well. But now we’ve seen him try to keep up the cover of everything being a joke while trying to ruin careers or manipulate his audience… and that we now know his admiration is genuine and he wasn’t meme-ing about Hawking cheating on his wife… it falls flat.
