It's been three years and I'm still waiting for someone to explain how the capitol building being cleared out in a few hours, the election results being certified by Congress later that night, Trump peacefully leaving Washington, and Biden being sworn in on inauguration day led to us "almost losing America" as Joe claimed in that speech.
Because it showed that a not insignificant number of Americans were not going to just shrug their shoulders and move on.

It's had them scared shitless ever since.

It’s about eliminating American identity entirely. America isn’t a country. It’s just a place you go to buy things. There’s no history in America, just stuff you need to buy NOW. They want to turn it into a brand like they did to Canada.
And magically they're surprised no one has any "brand loyalty" at all. For some fucking reason.

Honestly they should fear their constituents.
Part of keeping a 'free State' is making sure that politicians keep their asses in line, and every one of them needs to have that small niggling thought in the back of their mind that no matter how much they might be able to skate by on recall elections, impeachments or criminal charges ultimately some pissed off dude with a deer rifle can deliver consequences for their deliberate fuckery. They sure as shit don't believe in judgement by God, so the only brake is possible ballistic consequences - and even though those have been extremely infrequent, the mere fact that it could happen drives them insane.

You can tell how evil and selfish they all are by how hard they campaign to remove even the extremely remote possibility of consequences for malfeasance.

At this point, ‘inclusion’ is simply code for ‘fuck white people.’

For those who don’t know, William Penn, a Quaker, was a pacifist. He did not militarily battle the Delaware (or the Leni Lenape) who laid claim to the lands for which he had received a charter in Pennsylvania. As a result, he worked out a treaty and bought lands through negotiations with the Delaware chiefs. Through negotiating these treaties, Penn was part of the natives' "chain of friendship." Penn upheld his end of the treaty and did not trick or otherwise renege on his commitment to the natives. He also paid a fair price for the land. His relationships with the indigenous tribes he counted as his neighbors were amicable. And, like it or not, he played a pivotal role in the founding of what we now call Pennsylvania. Therefore, taking down the statue is absolutely ludicrous- if they want to commemorate the indigenous tribes, it’d be better (and less divisive) to just add some commemorations to them within the same park. For chrissake…add instead of subtracting.

They hate you, repudiate your history and skin color, and want you dead and gone. But, hey, at least the National Parks Service is receptive to feedback! Per Fox:

Deb Fucking Haaland really needs a good old- [REDACTED FEDPOST].

William Penn is an ancestor of mine and I find this chilling. He's one of the figures in our national history we should be most proud of. This is a despicable act. Where does it fall on the "genocide timeline" or whatever that the left always gets out when someone says something they don't like about one of their preferred groups?

If you love him so much why don’t you build a statue of him in your front yard.

Folks in Philly obviously don’t love him enough to keep his statue around. A couple hundred years from now there will surely be folks tearing down whatever statue replaces William Penn’s, and when that happens there will surely be people reeing about it then too. Circle of Life.

Oh, this is about the people? And their will?

How interesting. So then, was there some kind of vote? Are there surveys about how people wanted this to be the way the government spent its money?

In point of fact, the NPS isn't even bothering to put up the public comment period it is legally obligated to do, and in fact said it would do in the article. A current list of solicitations for public comment does not include this project at all. This is not about what "folks in Philly" want. This is the federal government deciding something on the basis of no public movement whatsoever, and refusing to even perform their basic due diligence to make sure this is something the public would accept.

People in Philly also kill each other indiscriminately, riot when the Eagles lose and harbor rapists in the name of "social justice." Miss me with that shit. I'm glad you're okay with erasing history because they were born in the "wrong time."

Some memology 101 vids about shit we've missed this weekend.

Everyday, we inch closer and closer to the day of the rope. inb4 "lol muricans won't do shit".

Some idiot, Jim Clyburn, goes on CNN and blames Trump for the Dylann Roof shooting.

Eric Adams on the verge of tears over all the illegals getting Bussed to NYC.

Weird how actual Europeans get to have statues for 1000+ years, even for figures who have been the subject of some controversy. Hell, England cut off the head of a king whose statue is now approaching 400 years old and still standing. They didn't try to pretend he'd never existed or had no public monuments as soon as he fell out of public favor. They didn't melt down the statues of the people who ended up (as we all must, eventually) on the wrong side of history, except Russia, which removed all monuments and statues of tsars when Lenin took over.

Asians, too! Japan, Cambodia, in fact pretty much every Asian culture ... except China, because it had a Cultural Revolution that destroyed huge amounts of its cultural artifacts and symbols from its rich ancient history.

Kind of seems like you're allowed to keep your statuary until you find yourself in a cultural purge initiated by Marxists!
