That's just incredibly sad.

I don't know many angler kiwis we have here, but there's really nothing like the feeling you get from being in nature and then suddenly feeling the shaking tug on your line. The rush that comes at that moment, you desperately don't want the fish to get away. You know you have to tire it out while you reel it in or it could escape. You want to just pull it to shore as quickly as possible, but you have to wait, hesitate, let it swim and struggle, reel a little, wait a little, keep reeling.

But once it gets there, it's yours.

Anyone in this thread who's watching Bossman use stake and is considering signing up and trying it themselves, I really think they should consider taking up trout fishing.

It's easy to pick up, very inexpensive, and it's the rush of your life.
