I find a lot of people who support that sort of thing think that the grooming allegations are just right-wing propaganda/alarmism, or simply don't think of it as grooming.

It is a little weird to publicly pledge to your dad that you'll only have sex after you're married. If there wasn't such a ritualistic bent to it I don't think it'd be nearly as odd. I'd say it's about as weird as hypersexualized crossdressers dancing in front of impressionable children in order to piss off their parents and foment kooky gender ideas in their heads.

As a europeen i see that Purity Ball shit as some extremely creepy, kinda incest-y thing that really shouldn't be a thing in the first place. As a father, do you really want to be that invested in the status of your daughter's hymen? I can see muslims doing that but white americans should know better. Very off-putting.
