I'm sure this has been asked before, but is HR even a thing outside of the states? It sure as unironical shit isn't in my deep parts of Europe.
I'd scoff and heartily laugh at anyone trying to pull that bullshit on me.
Plus, we are way more conning with our fatshaming. The type of way that will REALLY make one lose some weight.
re: mirrors

Yeah, and that's why you're a fat bitch unable to wipe your own ass, Corissa.
That bed and flower filter is where you'll die, ktnxbiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Why were you on Ozempic when you didn't have diabetes? I mean, I know why, but what's her excuse now?

In my neck of the woods it depends on the size of company and if it's a multinational, otherwise there is no HR whatsoever and workers are expected to act professionally, if a problem arises tough shit you have to deal with it yourself.

That HR slide floored me. Thank god she "works" as a freelance, imagine having to deal with a colleague like Corissa on a daily basis, I'd be looking for a new job the second she'd try to drag me to HR, fuck that and fuck her.

Even in the US, HR would likely roll their eyes at someone complaining over innocuous diet talk. If anything, they’d be pleased since a lot of big corporations offer incentives for healthy habits like discounted gym memberships, NOOM or similar “weight management programs”, free step counters etc. Anything to get those insurance premiums down.

Coco attended something like six colleges and never graduated from a single one. I can’t recall if she’s ever even held a real 9-5 job. She has no idea what she’s talking about, as usual.

And the posters telling you about those offers will be prominently displayed, and HR may even send you emails to let you know you can get a discount on (gym, NOOM, FitBit, etc.). They also generally like it if the break room conversation is about something like food (and what else do you expect people to talk about at lunch?) rather than office politics and gossip.

HR has plenty to do without policing small talk. People get hired and fired, people need FMLA, there's discrimination, the creepy web dude harasses Shelia in admin, and so on. They don't police chitchat, nor should they. Corissa has no idea how a workplace functions.

Also, if they're banning diet talk, then they can also ban HAES talk. It's the same problem with censoring this very forum for posting things you don't like: next time, it'll be you getting gagged, and you sure won't like it. Get a coping strategy, get a therapist, and get a grip.

I'm imagining Corissa trying to sic HR on some of my colleagues: in the name of "fighting ableism," she'd try causing trouble for a woman with arthritis, who (per her doctor's recommendation) makes a point of getting daily exercise and watching her diet to keep her symptoms in check. I suppose Corissa would say my colleague's desire to live without pain and keep full use of her hands and arms is just as evil and ableist as Rosey's desire to be able to wipe her own ass after using the bathroom.

re: mirrors
Europe is based af when it comes to fatties. It's great.

Corissa has no idea how a workplace functions.
As soon as Corissa said "go to HR!" with that enthusiastic sincerity, I knew that she had never had a job in her life that wasn't just being some obese Internet influencer who fleeces money out of other deathfats. For one, the main purpose of HR is to protect the interests of the company. They do this by managing employees and employee relations, but protecting the fee-fees of an over sensitive, inefficient fatty getting personally butthurt that the people around her are interested in improving and maintaining their health, isn't in the company’s best interest. Healthy employees get work done and Karen employees cause needless drama.

So, in other words, because that last one is a fat lie, she has diabetes & high blood pressure, but she's 'healthier' now than she ever was when she was thin? Are you really saying that, Corissa? Her followers must really be major dumbasses to believe that for one second. It makes absolutely no logical sense whatsoever.

The “health sheets” from HAES and notes to doctors really bother me. There might be situations to message your doctor/give them a note with information, but you ARE going to have to have hard and truthful conversations at some point, to serve your health.

I’m of a generation that produced a lot of emos, and if you weren’t a poser and were actually concerned for your health, like if you were depressed or harming yourself, I did see recommendations of “if it’s difficult to ask for a mental health referral/admit there’s a problem, you can write down what to say or give them a note.” I think some youth charities even had printable cards to that effect.

But that in no way resembled the denial and misinformation in those health sheets. Rather, it allowed you to talk about your concern and was meant as a starting off point. You could say what you needed. Not like the HAES sheets, which really come across as thinking you know better than the medical professionals and won’t allow certain topics to be touched on.

FFS, she's still claiming ARFID? Corissa, you fucking liar. I swear to god, what the fuck is wrong with you (oh, wait—NPD; nvm).

No, Corissa. NO. Your wound-collecting followers, who are so happy to self-diagnose themselves with anything that absolves them of responsibility for the state of their lives and bodies may buy it, but I sure as fuck don't.

ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder; that name alone should tell you what a fucking lie this is in Corissa's case) is diagnosed in childhood. Kids who have it basically starve themselves and fail to thrive, due to severe aversions to all but a few foods, if that. They also have a general disinterest in eating at all. Some also have anxieties about choking or vomiting that are so severe they can't eat.

It's more commonly seen in autistic kids and kids with developmental disabilites. But most autistic kids with sensory issues about food will ask for and willingly eat acceptable foods when they're hungry; ARFID kids have to be coaxed to eat even their few "safe" foods, no matter how long its been since they last ate.

Most ARFID kids outgrow it, but occasionally some continue to manifest symptoms of it into adulthood, and when they do, guess what is not a clinical sign?

Obesity.

Adults with ARFID, who can self-manage it, are still thin. They don't enjoy food; they don't enjoy thinking about or preparing it; and will often rely heavily on liquid meal replacements. They don't show off the snack shelf in their pantries, or meals at their hipster friends' farm-to-table restaurant, or go on about all the great food and snacks they're providing at Fat Camp. Those who can't self-manage very well, and don't have someone around who ensures they get adequate caloric and nutritional intake, are underweight, and often dangerously so, with a lot of the same physical problems severe anorexics have.

In the very few old photos of Corissa, pre-fattening, she is never thin enough to suggest ARFID. Even at her thinnest, she's not skinny. I don't know if she's ever posted pics of herself as a child, but I'm going to bet that they show a perfectly normal-looking kid, which would not be the case if she had ARFID.

The closest Corissa has ever been to a restrictive eating disorder was in her teens and early 20s, when she kept going on stupid, harsh, unsustainable diets, because that's what most young women do before they figure out that it doesn't work. She was not anorexic; just dumb.

And since her mid-20s, when she swung hard the other way, gave up on being thin, and started eating whatever the fuck she wanted with no regard for consequence, she has clearly had no trouble eating, has never avoided any foods to an unhealthy and obsessive degree, has eaten a wide variety of foods with different flavors and textures, and has eaten enough of them to become obese and cause harm to her body that now has to be managed with pharmaceuticals, because she sure as shit isn't giving up eating whatever the fuck she wants, whenever she wants it.

ARFID is a nightmare to deal with for the parents of kids afflicted with it, and it's an ongoing struggle for adults who still have it (and their caregivers), and this fat bitch is telling us she has to be encouraged to eat because ARFID? There isn't enough "Fuck you, Corissa" in this world to cover the contempt I feel for her.

Corissa links to a list of SRS surgreons that either have no BMI requirement or have high cut offs of BMIs of 32 to 50 (about 195 lbs to 300 lbs average based on a height of 5'5") for top surgery. Or no BMI requirement or have high cut offs of BMIs of 30 to 50 (about 180 lbs to 300 lbs average based on a height of 5'5") for bottom surgery. You will notice thier BMI cut offs are no where near the weight J or Corissa actually is.

Selfish people need to stop worrying about falling in love with themselves and worry more about loving others. You know what I love about myself? That the people who love me do so, because it's positive proof I'm pretty great. Changing to become better for others isn't a weakness or even a patriarchal virtue.

Also, Corissa is fat.

Kid I help out with sometimes has ARFID. Almost 13, but looks 10 and hasn’t and isn’t getting his teenage growth spurt because he only eats about ten foods. No meat, so he has to take mineral supplements. He’s a really nice kid, autistic though, which is why he still needs a bit of supervision.

Croissant, (leaving it, phone autocorrects Corissa to Croissant, I’m deceased), NOT stuffing your face is not ARFID. I think the diagnosis is when you eat less than 20-25 foods overall.

Notice how a tinge of guilt creeps in amidst the narcissism -- she briefly acknowledges that her corpulence destroyed a family heirloom before deciding it's the chair's fault for being "made like shit". I don't disagree that modern furniture is generally substandard, but that's not the stuff that survives to become heirlooms. This chair served multiple generations of Ennekings and would have served many more had its life not been cut brutally short.

(bunch of videos)
TL, DW of Corissa's first video: "Of course just going to HR saying people are talking about diets (don't point out this was what I suggested literally days ago) won't work, but lying through your teeth about bullying and discrimination should get the job done!"

Edit to add: And that site gives us a cow crossover with none other than Dr. Sidhbh "Sneed" Gallagher, a strong contender for the absolute worst SRS quack butcher in existence: Groomer TikToks, horrifically bad results, and even told a patient with life-threatening complications to not go to the ER.
