I'd say a coin toss. CRP has no fucking shame, and he would suck dick and film it to get out of jail, so faking his death is no problem for him. On the other hand, CRP dying of untreated pneumonia in a shitty Ukie prison is entirely possible. Ukraine, in terms of hospital care for prisoners, is sub-Saharan Africa-tier.

I'm with you there. IMO this is a special circumstance given how US citizens are the only reason Ukraine even still exists today (it won't this time next year). Of course we don't know the full story either, it's plausible to me that the Ukrainians might've even tried to give him back but the US said nope, let him die. The message is pretty clear, if you suffer from wrongthink the establishment is happy to just watch you die, citizenship be damned.

Anyway, this is still unconfirmed. Gonzo Sr. would have had to talk to someone in Ukraine to know this, and even if he did, he could have gotten bad info and passed it to Tucker (who doesn't have a great record for fact checking).

His family and the grifters they published the information through would absolutely lie about it, but he's currently standing trial, so if he died that will be reflected in the paperwork somewhere. We should learn from a more reliable source in the near future.

This might be an op of his family to force the US government to inquire or get him out of there if he really is dangerously ill.

Why would his father lie about him dying after spending the past week doing the interview circuit because he was deathly ill (ICU)? What good would it do now to claim he's dead if he's not? CRP is physically incapable of staying offline. If the theory is that they faked his death so they could secretly let him go well how would that work when he shows up next week? Having an American citizen die in Ukrainian custody for saying dumb shit a year ago is not exactly a win for Ukraine.

• Downplaying or denying any genocide by a communist leader (whether it be by Mao or Stalin)
• Simply thinks a nation is superior because it’s anti US/EU/NATO
• Being anti woke to the point of simping for highly authoritarian regimes (not all tankies are anti woke, but even the more left leaning ones still simp for authoritarian regimes)
• Having rose colored glasses on any corruption, lack of standard of living, and limits of freedoms in nations they claim are “better” than where they are now
• Thinks the US/EU/NATO should become isolationist, but strangely have no problem with anti western nations invading other nations (especially if said nation is sympathetic to the US/EU/NATO)
• Has magical thinking where they believe that if X nation against the US/EU/NATO wins, that domestic problems back home will ease up

Overall though, there is some difference between a vatnik and a tankie, but they overlap a lot
