50-50, imo.
On the one hand, prisons are mostly shitholes where most don't give a shit if a prisoner lives or dies (unless they're a VIP, which CRP is not)...I imagine it's worse in a country currently in the middle of a war.
However, on the other, given all the previous info that has been taken by Tucker to be true (such as CRP is a journalist, or that he did nothing wrong), I'm gonna want actual proof before i take it that CRP is dead. Last thing we need is another Near situation

In the past, Tucker was fine about fact checking most of the time. Main areas he was bad was he’d exaggerate his own experiences (like saying a protestor knocking on his door was busting it in) or taking interviewees too seriously and unquestioningly (like when talking to a Swedish journo who claimed it wasn’t migrants causing crime there but rather liberals making it up that crime happened).

Now that he’s on his own he doesn’t seem likely to even bother researching subjects since he’s really just doing a podcast now. Bigger concern now is what celebrity guests he could get rather than researching some subject like immigration in order to be prepared for a monologue.

Fun fact. On the other hand, it is also very likely that you will be detained by the Taiwankers under the pretext of compromising national security if you wave the 5 star red flag and call for unification with a loudspeaker on Taiwanese, especially Taipei streets.

The Taiwanker authorities questioned a Taiwanese retired police officer from Miaoli county who went to mainland China for cross-straits exchanges quite recently at January 4th. They took issue at him merely saying that he wished for Cross-Straits peace.

The English media don't like to report news that makes the Taiwankers look bad but what you should take away from this is that you'd better keep your mouth shut and shy away from politics if you are in a foreign land and even more so if war is on the horizon. Even if said country or region claims to be a first world democracy.
