How do you NOT KNOW your parents are visiting?
By being too drunk to remember.
Or how do you not know you’re supposed to be a judge at a speech meet happening the next morning until 10:39pm the night before?
By being too drunk to remember.

Nicky has to put in TWICE the effort at hitting the bottle of stream to keep up his diet, you would not want him to have to down an entire bag of doritos every day now would you? that's unhealthy.

PPP laid down an interesting challenge to Rekieta on the KC.

If Rekieta releases whatever copy of Wilshire Boulevard he may have, the KC will forgo talking about Rekieta anymore.

I don't have a clip handy, but it's 30:30 on this Kick video in case somebody like @elb is interested (they even said "clip it Elissa").

I don't know if Nick still has it, but it is true he did say a long time ago he got to read a draft version of it, and opined it wasn't very good. CRP wasn't happy with that, and that was the main reason they had a falling out.

EDIT: Typo.

That'd be amazing, but Nicki is way too much of a faggot to play ball even if he happens to still have his review copy.

I honestly think it's a fundamental problem from the get-go, wanting to be a Youtube "alternative" for "no-no speech" already puts you in a stupid position both against the powers that be and to entice growth.

Clones and alternatives nearly never work, you need to have a real utility.

Just look at what YouTube’s actual competitors do

Twitch/justin.tv came about because YouTube didn’t have livestreaming yet, and currently has a ton of community features YouTube lacks

Vimeo has password locked content as an option making it great for sharing demo reels and not publicly released videos throughout hollywood

Tiktok all content is short form and designed to be spoonfed via scrolling as if it’s Instagram, making more of a social media platform than just a video aggregator and it has that shitty AI voiceover feature.

Newgrounds is aimed at animation and has the option to have videos, comics, blogs, and video games uploaded to it.

Pornhub is a porn site with a surprisingly large amount of lets play content and halo multiplayer highlights uploaded to it.

There are others, but those are the main competitors in terms of not just being a direct video platform.

Rumble and Bitchute were just “edgy right wing” YouTube, which is a bad place to be. The only chance is to do something YouTube truly does not do and do it so well you can cement yourself before YouTube copies it with their endless amounts of google money. Stream.me’s weekly viewer contest and the ton of features on Mixer were solid attempts at viable competitors, but neither lasted very long, mixer or course was a victim of being purchased by Microsoft and was shut down almost immediately.

I don’t know what rumble could do to make people care, right now they’re doing the mixer method of buying creators off YouTube, but that can only go so far

IDK why Kirsche is upset about NickR ignoring her DMs, when she herself ignores DMs.

Phone posting, can't record, but here is she admitting to it (1 hour, 3 minutes, 40 seconds):
I find most people tend to use "Bad at answering DM's" as a way to filter problems that might come up otherwise. Any decent sized creator gets spammed with a mix of insane messages of "watch this YT video" or incoherent schizo babble. If a person or situation is worth answering, you make time. Would argue a female vtuber would have more to filter.
Given Nicks's creator size/newly gained infamy could argue he has just as much if not more insanity to filter.

Half of MATI can be our Dear Feeder combating his budding parasocial romances. Though he does respond, even if it's with a "fuck you".

Normally one would think a creator would acknowledge another creator's DM as a higher priority unless it would be unwelcomed drama. In this case, Kirsche reached out with the perception something may be wrong. In a more innocent matter than Rekieta having 2 hour shower struggle sessions forcing "ITS NAAAWT TRUUU" to those, he must keep in line. Notice Nick only reaches out to people he wants to keep around like Dear Feeder opposed to some vtuber he barely knows exists. Maybe he learned something from the fallout of the Pippa drama?

Kirsche still has the innocent perception of him from his initial reputation(as do most) of a goofy professional/family man. Even the smallest dive into Nick's character would have resulted in not bothering to reach out to begin with. They barely know of each other's existence, so reaching out or responding isn't worth it in this case.

tldr- Matter of priorities vs dealing with drama.

Seems like all streamers are shameless hypocrites. :story:

Recent example I just saw was faggalot claiming he discovered something about asmongold's charity and ended up just pulling up an article and then reading it. The leftist writer who thought faggalot was a right wing maga got upset at faggalot just taking the writer's apparently 2 years worth of investigation and then claiming he 'discovered it' and struck him down. faggalot went crying of course and quarterpounder came running to defend him claiming faggalot has all the right. The same faggalot that false flagged people and struck them down for commenting (not reading article verbatim or just silent watching) on his crying video. Lots of pearl clutching tweets there.

Honestly, he might claw back a tiny bit of goodwill if he did it.

It's not like Gonzo is gonna sue him. Or, you know, doing anything else. Like... ever.

Or.... OR...

He could actually stop taking Ls for a minute and felt the Casino by electing to read the thing live on-air on his own show. That way if people wanted to know what Wilshire Blvd was like, they'd have to tune in. Could be quite the coup considering everybody is talking about CRP now and he could do with better numbers to look better in Rumble's eyes.

I know, I know, I'm giving the mad good advice. How dare I. Don't worry. I doubt he'd follow it.

Anyways, Elissa has the clip up. Thanks @elb.

That is a school event, so I can plausibly see how it might occur, but the parents is just a non-starter. It is a lazy excuse that somehow manages to be worse than 'unexpected date night with the wife!'

This is my issue with Rumble and specifically his 'ideas' he wants to see them and LOCALS implement--it is all essentially 'add this feature I like from another platform'.

Good post!

Just based on the latest streams Nick wouldn't be able to read the whole book without going on tangents or needing breaks to drink off camera.
"You know, in retrospect this section reminds me a lot of that closeted gay nazi from American Beauty. Hear me out, hear me out..." Nick rambles on for twenty minutes about American Beauty again, shaking his whiskey glass hand but never actually drinking before he finishes his speech.

It's not a stretch to say that the Nick who recieved that book could have made it an entertaining week of shows, but not the Nick of today. He used to have the attention span to read Greer's book and all the court docs for MadDox v. MadDax. Lately it seems like his audience has been lucky to get him on track for twenty minutes at a time.

Nick doesn’t deserve the opportunity to claw back any goodwill.
He really doesn't, but I feel like if he released Wilshire Blvd (assuming he still has the draft he was given), quite a few people would probably grudging give him a golf clap.

You know, before going back to calling him a drunken faggot who got catfished by a dude.

Just being honest.

Better for Willshire Blvd. to remain an eternal mystery.
Or Godwinson could release if it's true he also has a copy.

JFG, I think, might be too busy trying to convince the Canadian authorities his girlfriend isn't decomposing in a shallow grave someplace, so that might be out of the question.

Can anyone think of any remotely legitimate reason they can't count the minutes people watch by. . .you know, just counting the minutes people watch? Sounds like something even a pajeet off fiverr could manage.
Like counting viewers, counting minutes watched in a video sharing site is surprisingly hard. This time, it's hard because you don't control where your traffic is exiting your network. Most of the traffic will exit through CDNs, who manage servers near your users to control bandwidth costs. Any traffic going through a fiber line costs money, and by keeping the content near the user, you reduce the cost. That means that without complete control of the CDN (like Google and Netflix), they don't have much visibility over what traffic is going to users.

My personal suspicion is that Rumble has not invested any money into doing either of these accurately, and is instead asking the pajeets who do their consulting to come up with a plausible overestimate instead of hiring someone good to do the hard work of actually counting things. Of course, you could work with your CDN to get an API to make all of this trivial, but that would mean that you would need to produce accurate numbers.

If you have accurate numbers, you have to disclose them, but if you don't, Wall Street probably can't compel you to produce them.

To tie this back to Nick, I would assume that Youtube numbers are accurate and that the types of people who watch Nick on both sites are roughly the same, meaning that Nick gets the same $/viewer-minute on both sites. That would mean that Nick's Rumble viewership is as low as (or lower than) his Youtube viewership.
