Well.. It's a shame that it's come to this.

I'm sorry for how all of this played out. It's entirely unfair to the vast, vast majority of people who regularly post on this board. I care about this subforum and it's posters, and I always tried to do right by all of you, even if we disagreed on shit. And we all know that Agent Proper did the same, and went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions. That goes without saying. Unfortunately, I think we've passed the point of no return, here.

As far as I'm concerned, the DSP subforum died last night, and Null killed it.

He can try to spin whatever schizophrenic delusion he wants - about how people on Twitter are conspiring against him to cause a rift in the DSP board, or KF in general, but the truth is that the DSP board was more than just a bunch of usernames and profile pictures talking about DSP. It was a community with it's own culture, that was completely unique from the rest of the website. We were close-knit, friendly to each other, and self-policing.

Null hated us for this.

From my interactions with Null in DMs and the Staff-Only moderation boards, it's been my experience that he is incapable of listening, incapable of reasoning, mentally unwell, and generally difficult to talk to, and I think that's been the experience that many of you have had here over the last couple of days. No matter what you say, no matter how hard you try to get Null to understand, he just does not listen.

I want to thank you all for posting here with me, it's been fun.

If Agent Proper gets his own website going, I'll see you there. If not, then this is goodbye.
Thank you for your service :semperfidelis:
If I could get down on my hands and knees and say thank you and still be on camera, etc.
And thank you to @Agent Proper as well. And @actually , whateva happened there.

In most forums/subforums there are almost always mods that are power-drunk twats, but these guys were good, fair mods, which is something that's really hard to come by.
I kinda feel the same way that Clothes does about Null killing this subforum. It's been on life support for a while now, what with the farms being off clearnet and hopping domains for so long. Some of us have tried sticking in there, but this could be the final nail in the coffin, and it's a damn shame.

Is it reasonable for me to assume that despite Null's frustrations with this section of the farms, that he would rather have it remain here to line his pockets, than have others take it and potentially profit from it elsewhere?

There's nothing wrong with that btw - it's just one of the conclusions I've arrived at.
No, where did you even come to the conclusion that it was about money? If someone is going to do their own DSP content elsewhere I never got the idea that he wanted to stop it at all.
It disingenuous to say there's nothing wrong with that and say "line his pockets". If you want to call him greedy just say it, don't try to be coy and pretend you don't care.

But there IS nothing wrong with that, IMO.

I've made it clear that when it comes to these forums, I give absolutely zero shits about the other sections that makes up the farms. I come here for this section only. So do a LOT of other people.

And Null doing what he's doing is a classic DSP move, of self-sabotaging.

Now, to get back on the topic of DSP - I am not surprised, but still disappointed, that he offered no apology for stealing content from other gaming channels for the benefit of his throwback channel. He was caught, got found out, the original video is still on his channel but just set to private, but he'll pretend nothing dodgy happened all the same. He knows what happened, but won't own up to it.

What are the chances Youtube caught on to the dents botting streams so there are enough people to accept memberships?

All i know is Google better be having a meeting with their senior management to figure out how they'll get Phil the money he is OWED!!
It could also be possible that whoever dropped that member bahmb used a VPN or whatever to get better regional pricing, since regional pricing still applies even when gifting memberships, I just tested it by switching my location to Street Shitterland and they pay the equivalent of around $90 for 50 members, if the cost of a standard membership is $5 which would make the standard price of 50 memberships $250. When someone pointed this out to him he of course deboonked it and the 15 year veteran of the platform who has still no idea how it works thinks that every region pays the same amount save a few cents more or less depending on conversion.

Yeah, they've been real. Don't be mistaken: Removing competent mods is part of killing this subforum. They won't be replaced easily, and the next time some idiot from outside spergs all over the farms, there won't be anyone there to keep it in check, which will be more than enough reason to shut it all down. But it's fine, whatever. This is his site, he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it, even if it's retarded.

I'm amazed by the brazen manipulation. Phil spent like 20 minutes talking in circles about how upset he was that the 50 potentially fake memberships were a risk of convincing dents that for once they wouldn't have to give him their lunch money as he already had enough. You can smell the greed wafting through your screen.
the irony of also taking pity tips that he's preventing youtube from making money on.
Looking at this thread feels like I'm walking through the burned remains of a crack house. Sure it was covered in piss and shit and needles, but this was OUR crack house bros! Look at what they took from us!

Regarding Dave, I need to talk about the man's very ample breast

We are talking at least C's here fellas.

But what's funny about this is for some reason DSP feels the need to remind everyone that he bought all these clothes 10-15 years ago. But he ALSO tells us that he used to be 25-30 pounds heavier back then!! Bro this shirt is so tight it could be UNDER ARMOR!! So are you lying about your weight loss or lying about buying the clothes David 🤨?
I say he's wearing khet's old shit that she can't fit into anymore.

Man poor timing on the sperg out when phil has has a bunch of interesting sperg outs of his own.

So do we know that the gifted memberships were one discount though VPN and will only pay out pennies or is that speculation?
That can't be the case because Phil very adamantly asserted that it's impossible to do that and he seemed extremely confident.

I love when his dent chat tells him the right answer and he's too dumb/stubborn/etc to listen to them.

Can't be bothered to google the answer either, but still perfectly comfortable haranguing some innocent pajeet customer service rep for an half hour.

You mean “haranguing an AI chatbot”

YouTube’s help is run by chat bots, and Phil is too dumb to tell the difference, lol!

The only ones who get people to help them, are the kind of kahntent creatirs who Phil compares himself to and would love to be: The ones with hundreds of thousands of views and millions of subs.

How can they actually be only pennies? A membership costs the same anywhere right? the cheapest 4 or 5 dollars. So how can they be actuallyonly pennies worth?

Also: this retard screamed at his chat for making play RE 0 on hard but the next stream he seems to be fine. Must be that totally organic 100$ tip

It doesn't, it's based on region. Argentina has the lowest (and it's getting even lower daily because of their insane inflation), you can check it here. So, since Phail prices his membership at $4, it's 40 ARS, which is $0.05.

This is the theory I'm thinking of. With superchats it tells you where that person is from with their currency of choice, but no such information is provided when gifting memberships.

I don't think Phil will accept such an explanation though. He wants HIS prices to dictate things, not the global economy's.

It's remarkable that Phil even has one member on any of his channels he doesn't do anything special for them, he could easily do a members only stream playing with his 'fans'. Sure some 'trollz' would know about it, but the greater scope is better than flailing about them. A normal person would go the extra mile but Phil as usual will have his fans go the extra mile for him instead.

What's kind of funny about the recent membership issues is it's yet another example of Phil shooting himself in the foot by throwing a fit and going over to YouTube instead of stubbornly demanding an apology from Twitch. As far as I know, Twitch is way more straightforward with subscriptions, which is why he was routinely hitting such high numbers. IIRC, he was regularly around 700-800 members, largely through gifted subs. Twitch just gives them to anyone who watched the channel, I still sometimes get hit with a gift sub on smaller channels that I only ever watched a few minutes of.

Reminder, Phil was departnered because he was rebroadcasting his stuff on YouTube, but he was never banned from Twitch, and Twitch is notoriously pretty forgiving and with OIC and other dents supporting him, I think he'd pretty reliable hit the numbers he needed for partnership. Heck, even outside of gift subs, he'd just have better growth opportunities, I can't imagine he's getting a whole lot of new viewers stumbling on his streams on YouTube.
