Tay also said to him that Sam had to tell her to stop forcing herself to throw up and Jet had to check in on her about it also.
Tay has bulimia so she likes throwing up and being a skelly-chan and gets a rush from it so she has done it any chance she could.
It's more of a compulsive thing than her actually liking to do it. Puking hurts and is a wildly unpleasant thing. But I take it you're joking lol.
This, like nearly every other piece of "content" surrounding Trish, features her doing nothing but being a punching bag (literally, in the Tay vs. Trish case). Whether it's getting her hair cut by Sam or being suffocated by Fatty, it's really not because of her actions. I do commend her resilience but she is objectively the fish with the least initiative.
Trish is so frustrating to watch sometimes. She's slowly getting better at making some very standout moments, especially with the baby challenge which was her at some of her funniest during the show. I just wish she'd be more willing to take initiative by cheating or fighting dirty. For lack of a better word, she's just too quick to back down in direct conflict, I mean I get the fear of repercussions and she can pretty much turn the tank against her if she sabatoges anyone behind their backs now but what else does she have to lose? Rise up or die trying Trish!

I'm a little annoyed by the fact that the fishtank crew feels the need to cram Fatty down our throats. I know they think they won't have any content with all of the most voluble fish gone, but that wouldnt necessarily be true.

If you've ever hung out with someone like Jimmy, you know they can suck all of the air out of the room. The shy fish are certainly going to stay mostly quiet in the presence of an incessant yapper, but sometimes seemingly boring people will come alive if given a little breathing space. Obviously we'll never know if that would have happened with our fish this season.

I think the bulimia talk is a bit overblown. The times she's deliberately purged have been in response to a challenge or a punishment. She's purged peppers, hot dogs, milk, the niacin pill, and to get puke to throw on Frank. I've never seen her purge after she eats normal food in a normal situation

Maybe someone with a more encyclopedic knowledge of bathroom happenings has evidence otherwise

You may recall that when the initial cast was leaked, the Cole fish ID had a picture of an androgynous-looking twink. This could be completely untrue, but someone on /tv/'s been claiming to have found their Instagram from Jet's followers. He won't post the name because he was asked not to but if he's telling the truth, this person should be arriving soon. The IG story was supposedly posted around 5:45pm.

Bulimics actually do like throwing up, especially when it's been used as a coping mechanism and a way to feel in control for years, it's essentially like getting high for them. It's easy to assume puking sucks for them because for most people, throwing up DOES suck, it's something you only do when you're sick, and even then, people's natural instinct is to fight it. But bulimics are way past the ingrained fear of puking. They don't fight the gag reflex to not puke, and they don't feel pain from doing (not at first, anyways... later down the road, sure). It feels good for them, especially as a source of control. Don't take my word for it, go read bulimics testimonies or go check out some ED forums/ED reddit and read all about it; the way they talk about it, it sounds like a junkie shooting up herion.

That doesn't mean Tay always feels good doing it, especially after a long time, the damage adds up. And logically, I'm sure she knows this is not only hurting her, but it's hurting her parents too. That said, bulimics and ana-chans are legit addicted to their disordered habits because for them it is the ultimate source of control. A place like Fish Tank is probably one of the worst places for a recovered bulimic to go, not only because the environment encourages gross behavior (and bulimics don't mind gross stuff) but also because the enviroment is chaotic and they have very little feeling of control. I knew when she first threw up that she was going to relaspe.

Tay has taken every chance she could to puke, and she hardly eats, she does what all ED chicks do and stays drinking coffee and smoking cigs to stave off hunger. Another thing is, you can see how much chipper she acts after every time she pukes. This bish is feeling great after every purge.

Bulimics will purge in the shower if the toilet isn't an option. Some prefer it because then it means less clean up since they're already naked and can just wash the filth off.*

Tay is purging openly whenever she has an excuse to do so and there a non-zero chance she's purging in the shower when she doesn't have an excuse to do it in front of the cameras.

*Of course it does depend on what food they ate, you can't purge something chunky in the shower that won't go down the drain.

I might be wrong, but as best as I can remember, the final four of the Season 1 cast did just as much "sitting around doing nothing" as this final four does. I think the wiggers calling them boring is intended to motivate them to be interesting, but instead it is contributing to the audience's impression that they are boring. They really have done just as much crazy stuff as the season 1 fish have. This is not a dig at the season 1 fish, I think season 1 was great. I also think that expecting 24/7 entertainment from an average person is unreasonable, and constantly prompting them to "be entertaining" is not going to help.

I think the bulimia talk is a bit overblown. The times she's deliberately purged have been in response to a challenge or a punishment.
Anytime she is confronted with stress she shoves her fingers down her throat, looks like a concentration camp survivor, spends inordinate amounts of time in the bathroom most likely purging and you think its overblown.

Production constantly nagging the fish to "do something" looks bad on production. Their job is to give them things to do and keep the show running, not just say "Do something!" What does production even do every day? If they shared that they know it'd look bad. I'd wager a decent chunk of their day is spent thinking of what to do for that day, being a runner, checking Twitter and 4chan, and goofing off.

They clearly have plenty of free time if Jet brought his fucking Xboxes (plural) and a library of games.

normally wrestlers exaggerate their height by a few inches and increase their weight by a bit to see more impressive. why is he underreporting his weight by 130 pounds?

He was coping about it earlier after getting bullied by TTS and said he didn't know how much he actually weighted right now (yeah right lol), it's obviously waaay higher than 215.

I'm coming around to Duanye staying in the tank now that he is no longer monopolizing every conversation. Oliver actually does do nothing though and should be removed or replaced.

I'm not as quick to blame production as some people, but when they do things like bring Oliver onto the show I really have to question their thought process. It's not hard to find a somewhat interesting freeloader for a show like this. Bring in someone with a unique job/life, like a marine or a professional wrestler, or pay a birthday clown to stay in character, or bring in a random garbageman who knows nothing about the show and watch him react to stuff. A freeloader should be someone the fish are irritated by (Duanye and Nifty) or someone they are intimidated by (Frank), or someone they have no clue how to act around (Charleston White). A bland, inoffensive quiet guy whose only gimmick is that he's from New Zealand (boring country) and has a fashion line (who cares) is not a good freeloader.

Cameras are down, I think the power is out.

(Rhode island energy shows an outage)

Let the record show that Jet Neptroon does not know how to run a generator.

Edit: for the dummies marking this late... The power went out around 7PM EST, came back for a few hours, then recently went out a second time.
