Sega - It's more than just Sonic Autism

Everyone excited for new Sega releases but I am looking forward to the new port of Tomb Raider on the 32x. If people managed to port a complete version of Doom on the 32x, I am looking towards the future.
According to comments and the video description, it's not even using the full power of the 32X to get it to run. As of now it's using both SH-2 processors, but isn't relying on the slave as much as the master.

32X has moar powah than folks give it credit for.
It's basically a Saturn lite.
Or could the Saturn be the 32X PRO?
Saturn Lite... only reason why the 32X even existed is because Sega, for some drug-induced reason, were scared to shit about the fucking Jaguar of all things. So they cut their Saturn in half and stuck it in a mushroom casing for the Genesis.

It was an interesting piece of hardware but it never reached its potential just because it lasted for a few months.
Its cool seeing the homebrew ports on it that takes advantage of it compared to the ports that were quickly dumped on it during its short life span. I want to so see some SNK/Capcom arcade stuff on it.

It had a lot of potential, here's some tweets from an actual 32X dev:

Interesting how the Genesis was actually a drag and not a plus, maybe the 32X would've done better as a standalone console? maybe add a CD drive and a 3D DSP and call that the Saturn and launch it worldwide at the end of '94 to get a leg up on everybody else? could've easily sold for $199 which would've been an excellent price back then.

I recall Kallinske saying that after SOJ rejecting Sony's offer to do a SEGA Playstation and then also rejecting Silicon Graphics' offer (then sending them to fucking nintendo, talk about fucking up!) only for SOJ to ship them Sato's idea of good hardware with the Saturn which looked like a dev's nightmare they came up with the 32X to get coders used to the brainfuck that was programing for the dual SH2. Also that the Saturn was going to be $400 meant a lot of people were going to be left out so the 32X was also the cheap option, not a bad idea in theory but the thing came out too late (should've been fall '93 not '94) and too close to the Saturn.

Ironically had SEGA delayed the Saturn to fix all the hardware fuckups instead of rushing and instead launch it in '96 like the N64 things might been better since more people would've bought the 32X which was half the price of a PSX and most people would've waited rather than buy the PSX since the big boys (ATT) were going to launch in '96 and even back the massive failure of the 3DO, Jaguar and CD-i had soured a lot of people towards newcomers like Sony and I remember how back then most people were really skeptic of Sony seeing them as another Panasonic or Phillips getting into a market they knew nothing about (and if you read the story of the PSX even within Sony few believed in the console).

It's weird that the 32x port of Tomb Raider looks almost the same as the original Saturn port

This is weird, Sakura Wars and Panzer Dragoon are hardly revivals, Sakura Wars had new games recently and Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record was in development but disappeared without releasing. Evangelion doesnt even have anything to do with sega really. Just bizarre to call any of this revivals, even though I could imagine them all happening the story sounds dodgy to me.
Especially putting the "10 games total" would not fit with the Kid Chameleon, Eternal Champions and Altered Beast rumor, or the Afterburner, Outrun and House of the Dead rumors.

I recall there being one/some on either Saturn/Dreamcast (both?). Not sure if they actually developed them or just published them, but there's some history there, though they stayed in Japan.
