The mental gymnastics on Trump walking away with this is glorious. CNN's batch of pundits in particular are almost speechless because not only is Trump +50%, but he's running the board with every major demographic category, including suburbanites and college educated. Doesn't help either when little Meatball looks poised to eke out a second place victory that shuts down any further Nimrata astroturfing.
It's not a good night for neocons and Never Trumpers when Iowa looks like this:

MSNBC saying Haley lost because Republicans don’t want to vote for brown people.
I'd rather see DeSantis go.Nikki was supposed to be the clear #2 and she’s trailing DeSantis. If she finishes 3rd her campaign is over.
ehh she's very likely to get second in New Hampshire because the republicans there are more liberal.Nikki was supposed to be the clear #2 and she’s trailing DeSantis. If she finishes 3rd her campaign is over.
Personally I think it DeSantis would have had a shot if he'd made a couple basic changes.
The political reddit salt mines are like being in a padded room. Complete disassociation from reality.Let's be real here. Anyone who didn't think Trump would sweep the Iowa caucus like a Reddit jannie was deluding themselves.
This right here. The simple truth is it was never about Trump per se. It was about what he represented. And the way the machine reacted to him was perfection. Which means throwing the orange man at the system one last time will be the culmination of everything everyone who voted for him the first time wanted.Nobody who isn't Donald Trump has a shot.
They definitely will if they think it will work to their advantage. I suspect they will turn up the heat for New Hampshire and South Carolina.I'd rather see DeSantis go.
Nikki's stans at least don't attack the base like Democrats do.
I know, which is my point. Anyone who unironically cites World War II or the Cold War for how to turn things around is not a serious person. Russia and China certainly have advanced beyond the 1980s and even though we don’t like them, that doesn’t mean they haven’t been making strides since the peak of Pax Americana.Even if we were still using steel and iron, and other metals for all domestic industries, we still couldn't pull a WW2 style economic switchover.
People have to keep in mind that Iowa is a caucus state, which inevitably leans towards whatever GOP organizers, such as they are, prefer. So if Trump was able to get a majority of the caucuses, then the primary formats are going to even be more in the tank for Trump. For those who don’t remember, NH and SC were “surprise victories” for Trump in 2016 because they assumed Rubio and Jeb were going to win. This time they can’t even bother to pretend he won’t win, it’s now a matter of who gets to be second place. These primaries are going to be a clean sweep. Only Utah may be cucked enough to go for Nimrata or Zion Ron, every other state is going to be for Trump.Nobody who isn't Donald Trump has a shot.
I see the God Emperor has made his presence known. The neocons have been felted tonight. Bigly happy
America is still reeling from electing a nigger twice. Ya'll aint ready for menopause and saggy tits.Nikki was supposed to be the clear #2 and she’s trailing DeSantis. If she finishes 3rd her campaign is over.
The nomination will be over before it reaches that point. New Hampshire will be a Trump win, Nevada even more so, and then South Carolina will kill whatever excuse Haley (and DeSantis if he's still in at that point) has to stay in the race. Problem for both Meatball and Nimrata is that outstanding establishment money and endorsements are going to quickly start falling in line behind Trump to ensure they're not locked out of any potential administration influence/role. You got a good glimpse of that tonight with the number of state and federal representatives present at Trump's victory speech. These primaries are going to be a clean sweep. Only Utah may be cucked enough to go for Nimrata or Zion Ron, every other state is going to be for Trump.
I guess that might be true. We're moving away from 5.56 because body armor is proliferating to the point it's not dependably defeating targets.
Corporate America is as much on the chopping block as Political America in this election. It is wildly optimistic to assume that they will surrender. Trump returning to power will not just be a repudiation of the political establishment in Washington DC. It will be a repudiation of the Academic, Media and Financial establishments as well. There is plenty of room for fuckery going foreword.
I'd wager we'll be seeing him again. We need bench candidates, better if they are not career politicians. Politicians and elected officials at current have made it quite clear they are not "for the people" but for themselves and other corporate interests. I'm more surprised that he hadn't dropped out sooner. Now let's see how long it takes meat ball to come to Jesus and drop. All I know is, I better not see a backdoor presidency to Haley. That woman is the devil wearing Prada personified.
