That attitude is why mainstream reality tv is boring and sterile. Shinji is fine, he was upset but he's bounced back already. I don't think glasses breaking is outside the realm of what should be allowed, and this is from someone who wears prescription glasses. Shinji is much less rattled by a lot of the stuff in the tank, so they have to go further if they want to upset him. If they never managed to upset him, and then he won, people might feel like his victory was unearned. Now that he's been through something that really bothered him, a potential Shinji victory will be more satisfying.

Shinji rang the bell on Frank. The beef challenge was an eye test. Shinji actually won, because Frank took off his own glasses and hid them earlier to keep them from getting broken, so neither of them were wearing them.

I think if he was able to steal the glasses without assaulting him, he should be able to break them. If you're allowed to assault people, Jimmy shouldn't have been kicked.

Tay rang the bell on Oliver. Jet asked why. Tay's answer was "he's just annoying". That made me laugh.

TJ's mission from Chris was to steal Trish's underwear (and maybe Tay's? It wasn't clear). He did this but seemed super uncomfortable with it the whole time. When he brought the underwear to Chris, Chris told him he needs to go get her socks too. Ben was talking to Chris about his missions earlier and it sounds like production told Chris to give out missions. I don't know if Chris himself or producion is the one coming up with the Chris missions though. People who successfully complete Chris missions are awarded "Chris Points".

The Tay-Oliver beef challenge is "who can annoy the audience the most in 15 minutes". Tay is probably going to win this.

Edit: So far, Oliver is winning the challenge by not participating and instead resting on the beanbag and lounging around at the bar, thus annoying the audience by not producing content. Very clever.

- When Frank ask people to start a beef so he can be freed from the dog house in exchange for immunity, Tay took the chance instantly to starts a beef with boring Olever.
I hope she loses the beef and Frank is just bullshiting about the immunity thing.

This has gotta be the do or die for Shinji. Everyone's pretty much turned on him, there is literally no reason for him not to go full force at this point. If he can't do it now, he's more than likely gonna get kicked off soon.

For those worrying about the glasses, I remembered this happened in S1 with Letty, and she said something like "I have to go get my backup glasses now" after they broke her main glasses. She did have an extra pair and IIRC no one messed with those (besides taking them from her but they didn't break them). I'm assuming the fish are told before hand that this is a possibility and to bring a spare, just like they are told to keep anything they don't actually want destroyed in the basement. If Shinji didn't bring a spare, then that's on him tbh. He saw S1, he should know glasses can get taken or broken. He seems fine tho.

This would be a reasonable take, but he's admitted multiple times that he hasn't watched any of S1 and that his friends pretty much told him to go in blind. He should've had an extra pair. This should help him realize that westerners cannot be trusted and should be dealt with swiftly, and without mercy.

The reason Fishtank feels watchable to me compared to actual reality TV shows is that it's not primarily about sociopaths pretending to make alliances through unbearably boring shit, it's a bunch of autistic speds enduring 40+ days of scuffed hell.

He did watch season 1, he told Jet when they were talking alone in B3 the other day, specifically said he didn't like how much power the simps had over the results in season 1.

No idea, I'm assuming him saying he didn't know anything was just his cover story before the reveal that everyone was a plant except for JC, I posted this comment when he talked about season 1:

Don't go on a show where your shit might get destroyed then? Shinji isn't a kid, he should know the risk either from watching/researching the show or reading his contract.
