According to sbm on The Virtual Asylum she was just streaming yesterday talking about things she wanted to do in the future with other members of the group. Whatever Cover found has caused them to make a pretty rapid decision.

If she's genuinely been committing some kind of foul play behind-the-scenes I'd say pissing away a comfortable job she's had for over five years is especially retarded.

Gonna take a wild guess this was why Mori was cancelling her stream earlier She and Mel go back a good ways I think Mel is even the first JP holomem she ever met because Mel's Past life had some connections to some of the same circles Calli came out of in Japan (Early on Calli mentioned meeting her at a concert and only after meeting the two of them realized they were both holomem. Odds are it was a FAKETYPE show as they were who Mel worked with as her PL Rica on an album.

Definitely a loss for her as far as just like an "easy career" sort of thing. Overall though I wager she'll be fine she's never really stopped her activities on her old utaite account and she'll likely end up going back there, where we might even see her popping up with folks like Choco who's still active on her PL as well and Kson both of whom she's publicly done things with on her PL account as well.

Didn't know about Mel's rap cred but she is one of the few Holos that reach out. EN member impromptu birthday call in? Ya, Mel is showing up and generally cutting though the awkwardness with charm. Definitely not. She is known for being not the sharpest tool in the shed so I'm almost certain she did something retarded without thinking it through.
As her last stream she did her 2024 relationship plans (vt tl). That was roughly 1.5 days before Cover released the announcement so I wonder how fast the termination process really takes. Did she already knew at that point? My guess is no and if that's true then that's pretty fast knowing how sluggish jp corpos can be.
