Frenchie came to do another Chantal livestream very shortly after her mom had passed. She cried and said it's a good distraction for her. Many hard pivots from being sad straight to laughing at Chantal being fat. Even her chat was semi-trained to read her mood and either send condolences and empathetic messages, or not mention it at all. Whenever there was a critical voice questioning her choice to not take any significant break from the Internet, there were people defending her - both on YouTube and here. People grieve differently, y'know? She should be able to do whatever feels right. If it's yelling at a fellow fat woman, so be it.
And what does she do with all the compassion? She turns her dead mother into a shield to excuse whatever behavior she doesn't want to take accountability for. Her mom was dying when she said that! That Radplaid bitch talked about empathy for Negz only a few days before Frenchie's mom passed, can you believe she timed it like that? Yes, Frenchie is a self-admitted mentally unwell person and a raging bitch, but do you know her mom passed last year? If you're not raging on the Internet shortly after you lost a parent, and you're not playing weird gay ops with your mods, you didn't love them enough! The way Greek Jews grieve is by acting completely unhinged online and bringing up their dead parent whenever people question said behavior. Educate yourself!
The combination of her talking about being mentally ill and also never taking any break from the Internet tells me she believes she can continue making a bank now and deal with the damage done to her soul later, when sitting in her house for cash. She may suicide bait here and there, but she doesn't seem to be fully aware that a lot a these scars may turn out to be irreversible. Is it worth it? Who knows. Maybe her priority is to be grieving with a lot of cash, rather than grieving poor. But I wish she owned her decision and left her dead mother out of it.
I tried to watch the Raven Star
interview with Radplaid, but the ritualistic self-flagellation was off the charts. Most of it is Radplaid apologizing for the word beaner, swearing to never use the word beaner again and also promising that she'll be extra vigilant about anyone else saying the word beaner, and will be calling out people left and right. Raven said she personally will keep an eye on Radplaid's behavior for any signs of not fully denouncing her beaner saying ways. Tasha was barking questions at them from the chat and the height of her black privilege. It was bad.
What caught my attention was Radplaid's explanation of the three dots incident. Frenchie said that she only blocked her because she saw her typing without immediately receiving a response to the emotional wall of "goodbye forever" text she sent her. Radplaid must have been thinking about how to best manipulate Frenchie, says the woman who demodded and remodded all mods but one, just to make the one come ask what's going on. Radplaid said she received the message, started typing immediately, then decided to take a minute to cool off and think about it, went to take a shower, came back to it, and she was already blocked. Less than twenty minutes. It may be because I'm personally the exact opposite and even ask people to take time when I want their response to something emotionally charged, but the idea that a forty-year-old woman only wants impulsive messages from people is disturbing to me. Don't think about anything, give her your most emotional reaction, or she doesn't want it. Frenchie, as well as Chantal, seem to believe that impulsiveness is some sort of virtue, and having to repeatedly delete their own ramblings and rage-quitting announcements from the Internet isn't changing their minds.
