I don't have a Google account either, and I always use private and adblocked browsing but Google only does it to me on TOR. Yandex is kinda worse with his. The results are better, and I think it still have an edge in reverse image search.Just log in. Yandex never gives me CAPTCHAs. Using google is just as tedious without an account, and I’m sure other search engines are equally reluctant to let you use them for free. The account is how you pay them, at least yandex actually searches instead of just giving you utterly unhelpful ad results.
I think the worst part of Google, is the totally obvious bias they have. If you look up anything controversial or political, you will just get the most dumb propaganda imaginable. Google is acting as a publisher and curator for the Internet. If one searches "cure for autism" on Google, this may be at the top:
It is not an illness and there is no cure. If you're autistic, a GP or local autism team may suggest approaches that can help you to: develop daily living skills. develop communication skills.Treatments that are not recommended for autism - NHS
So right off the bat there's BS "social engineering" to try to BS people into thinking autism is "diversity" rather than disability?
you can sort of circumvent SEO with something like millionshortAdvertisement, SEO abuse, and just general censorship by search aggregators have run absolutely rampant over the past several years. It doesn't help that terrible mass media conglomerates are favored by major search engine companies, especially Google.
I'm pretty sure its using current traffic congestion to determine what route is fastest at the current time. Still fucking annoying when I look up routes weeks in advanced and the route it gives me is retarted.I strongly suspect they've stuck some AI bullshit in there.
Well yeah, it's been doing that for years now using location data from millions of Android phones. That works fairly decently.I'm pretty sure its using current traffic congestion to determine what route is fastest at the current time. Still fucking annoying when I look up routes weeks in advanced and the route it gives me is retarted.
there is a route that gets reccommended to me all the time that the township stopped maintaining in the 40s and is completely overgrown , i understand this feeling. Not exactly search, but I've noticed over the past year Google Maps has gotten increasingly retarded in the routes it presents. It often telling me there's a faster route that saves 20 minutes when it's obviously not faster.
Google, Russian-language or otherwise, is all about them shekels. Amazon does similar shit to get you to buy the product they want you to buy, rather than the one you would have found if their search wasn't rigged.recently ive been getting messages at the bottom of my search results like this:
there articles dedicated to helping people who get lumped in with omitted results by mistake, makes me wonder what they use to decide what is and isn't considered 'repetitive content'
this was especially frustrating since it kept happening while i was shopping online since it would end up ommitting results that were the same listing on different sites with different prices, this revented me from being able to make an informed purchasing decision by default
Is Yandex really the only search engine that sometimes listens and obeys? It doesn't do it consistently, but at least it follows - and + instructions most of the time. As just one example, not being able to filter out Amazon results is one of the biggest frustrations in using Normie Corporate Bullshit Fake Search.
