He has wasted 25 hours in four days going on stream and beefing with people YouTube while also dick sucking Juju the Cow and Vito the Pedo to own the haters. Eric July didn't kill it, and he's not that smart, neither is he that clever. What Eric July has is the ability to keep pushing forward and to actually produce a product without being years behind schedule. It should be easy for someone more entrenched in the industry to run circles around Eric July, but the fact that EVS has failed at it so extremely just shows how much of a fuck up he is, but that's nothing new the retard can't even publish his twenty page comic books within a single decade.

A few years back Hut lost his former puppet master Doug Ernst when he made Ernst die of cringe by failing spectacularly at trying to crowdfund a burro-shit level comic and exposing the connection between the both of them: it seems that Hut was being secretly fed sperging material by Ernst against Zack and Frog's CG faction, but with Ernst out of the picture, poor Hut is lost and worthless. Now Hut possibly watches how EVS can from time to time welcome stray sheep into the fold when convenient and infers that Frog, being currently mid-drama with Eric July may have some use for a pliable sperg like him in exchange for promotion for his crayola drawn space whale "comicbook"

Comic Book Hut had a dream about writing a comic about Space Whale abortions. He asked Doug Ernst for help. As is always the case in CG, offering help for a comic makes one responsible for everything associated with it. When it (inevitably) fails, someone else has to be responsible. And that person was obviously going to be Doug Ernst. The same thing happened with Liam Grey and Nasser years ago. Nasser tried to help Liam and then became responsible for the failure of his penguin comic.

Comic Book Hut reacted to failure by making a long confession of all his crimes against comicsgate. He loved comicsgate but the Doug Ernst and Tim Lim conspiracy were paying him to attack comicsgate and telling him what to say. But he wasn't being paid enough and that was wrong. They should have made his space whale comic successful. It was their fault he wasn't a millionaire.

All the usual suspects then lined up to support good old comic book hut and Ethan became his best buddy for a while. But it eventually got boring for everyone involved after they had beat up on Ernst for a while. And laughing at comic book hut as their dumb pet retard got boring too.

I suspect EVS is running low on money or can at least see he won't raise any more through crowdfunding until his current projects are delivered in a couple years so manufactured Internet Blood Sports is going to have to pay the bills for the forseeable future. It really is as simple as that. He has grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle now, after all.

It was probably always inevitable but this is what he is now, not an artist.
