The anti-Israel left is going to elect MIGA Trump because they're butthurt Biden "supports" Israel :story:

All Trump has to do is remain silent on the issue as he has been and these leftards will stay at home so he can be elected and Make Israel Even Greater Again

My sides

They're flat-out rewriting history if they say people were dancing in the streets when Biden took office. No one was enthusiastic for him to the point that it's suspicious that he won in the first place. The lockdowns were still very much in effect in blue cities. The media was bleating that you'd kill every grandma in the nation if you came within six feet of another person except during a riot.

admitting that you don’t believe in the Constitution?
I'll need a citation on this.

I've called universal suffrage "rule by retard" and implied heavily it is a form of gaslighting, because both those assertions are correct.
I have repeatedly implied or directly called for the right to abandon the rules so long as the commies continue to ignore them, which is morally correct.
I have not claimed not to believe in the constitution as an ideal.

At any rate, I'll be drinking in a competent AG putting his foot down, with copious citations of constitution, law, and his own opponents for the rest of the evening.

EDIT:
And I don't jerk off to 100 year dead bodies like the 10th and 14th.
I certainly will be in the ER with a priapism if they're actually revived in my lifetime, however.

Paxton yes,

Abbott was always a cuck, in fact such a cuck that he stood aside and allowed the ridiculous Phelan impeachment proceedings based on .. nothing.. to proceed in violation of every letter of the TX constitution and the TX house rules.
Cuck he may be (and probably is), but he has to do something or he will be out on his wheeled ass. The weapons deployed against the feds here could be turned on Abbott if he doesn't back up Paxton. Pretty sure it'd suck for Abbott if he got impeached.

It's interesting to watch though.

They're forced to litigate in the most hostile circuit in the US, or back off for fear that litigation will overturn the Arizona case at the supreme court level.
Amazing how potent even a relatively minor official can be against this lawless admin if the just fight back even a little.
A lot of the current regime's bullshit can be traced back to talking very fast and hoping nobody looks too hard at what they're doing. They're completely unprepared for someone to stick it to them and keep doing so.

(I suspect this is an evolution of the bullshit games gun-grabbers have been playing, where they pass a shitty law, and when it gets challenged try to amend it so that it's 'moot' and they don't have to defend it in court.)

Sure:
The real struggle with "conservatives" is trying to get through to them with the uncomfortable reality that our constitution has been toilet paper for a very long time.
The constitution is a dead letter
Judges have the power to simply disregard law and constitution on the books in their rulings

At any rate, I'll be drinking in a competent AG putting his foot down, with copious citations of constitution, law, and his own opponents for the rest of the evening
While I think that Texas has tried (and at numerous times succeeded!) in far better arguments (some even mentioned in this thread), for what it’s worth, I do hope Texas manages to solve the Biden imposed crisis. Though, to that end, tried and true might just work better than trying to use War clauses for immigration

Me proclaiming the constitution is dead doesn't mean I don't believe in it.
It means it is dead. The enemies of the republic have killed it.
Me proclaiming law and order dead in Portland, San Francisco, and New York City doesn't mean I don't believe in law and order, either.

With the constitution dead, the only way to revive it is via raw exercise of power regardless of what that dead letter says.
Only then when the republic's enemies are begging for mercy at the tip of the proverbial cutlass can such a letter be revived.

The constitution was a great document, just like my grandfather was a great man.
Both are dead, in the ground.
Ideals can be revived, but not without the power to do so.

Frankly, if we'd had more self-serving cunts who were at least reality-aware enough to know what time it was in 2016, Trump would be finishing up his first term. Instead, retards like Paul Ryan led his fellow retards to war against their entire fucking voting base.
The GOP have been at war with their their entire fucking voting base since Dubya's second term at the very latest.

Personal anecdote, but I was living in downtown Manhattan during the election and retards were celebrating in the streets. Central Park was flooded with partiers reveling in the totally legitimate removal of le orange man. I just wanted some fucking sleep, but there were countless people screaming from their windows and rooftops.
To be fair, it's NYC and the vast majority were likely just celebrating the end of Mango Mussolini and not the rise of Joseph "Bad Touch" Biden, but to say that there was no enthusiasm for said political decision is a bit of an exaggeration.

NYC bugmen are not Americans any more than the green zone in Afghanistan were Afghans.

This is really good, Ken Paxton told the government to pound sand, they aren't doing their job so Texas will, everything they've said they're doing is gay, bring on any "consequences"

Someone on here, I wanna say it was @Gehenna once mentioned how eventually someone was going to tell the fed no and once one order is disobeyed the dominoes start falling. Which is, from my vague remembrance, a historically accurate statement. We very well may see more and more disobedience against the Feds on an exponential scale if things don't change soon. I personally welcome it, even if it upturns our way of life

Me proclaiming the constitution is dead doesn't mean I don't believe in it.
You’ll have to forgive me if I mock you for saying the Constitution is dead and that no Judge follows it one day, and the next one insisting on the 10th or 14th Amendments, or even asserting that if Texas just repeats the magic phrase “invasion” loud enough, the Judges will be compelled to give him total power over the federal govenment.

Either it is dead and doesn’t matter, or it is not and is under attack. Both are not tenable positions to have simultaneously. Pick either one and I won’t mock you, hold both and I will.
With the constitution dead, the only way to revive it is via raw exercise of power regardless of what that dead letter says
Surely you don’t mean to revive a dead object with the power that it allegedly no longer has?
While what Texas is doing is supremely Based and Red Pilled,
Their choice of arguments aside, yeah, totally. Biden needs to go down.

This may be it, because the thing the feds are chimping out about is the right to not enforce any of the laws the states' representatives have passed in order to secure our territory against foreign hordes. But at every level of government, from a homeowner trying not to get robbed to a state trying to keep its infrastructure from being overrun with Guatemalans, the left has planted their flag on the right of shitbags to commit crimes, the right of the government to not enforce the law, and its power to punish you if you try to protect yourself.

@Useful_Mistake It's too bad Paxton didn't cite the 2a and say that states have no obligation to get permission from the federal government to call the militia to defend against hostiles.

I will continue to point out violations of what should be our supreme law of the land so long as I have a functioning mouth, keyboard, internet connection, etc.
I will also applaud attempts to restore said law of the land by people with the power to do so.
If you would mock that, then I suggest you look in the mirror for the person who doesn't believe in the constitution.\
Surely you don’t mean to revive a dead object with the power that it allegedly no longer has?
So now you're trying to swap the table?
You cannot restore the constitution if you don't have the power to do so.
I have never said otherwise.

The year 2024 can be marked as THE year that the Republican Party grows a spine on behalf of the American people. Importing third world "citizens" in your country only brings third world conditions.

It will take another decade of effort, assuming it's not shut down via counter-intel like the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street were when they almost met and united.

My mockery was over you holding two mutually exclusive positions. Mine are not. I can applaud calling out violations of the Constitution as long as you believe it is alive, if under attack. Otherwise, this ends up feeling like a “fellow whites” thing.
You cannot restore the constitution if you don't have the power to do so.
I find it weird that you keep omitting the word “constitutional” before power. I think that is because you realize it makes little sense. You cannot restore a dead object with a power it does not have, yet that is precisely the point I hear you making.

If Texas were to just defy the Federal Government and it’s organs (including courts), certainly you’d have a point. But that is at all, not the point you are making

I admire the optimism, but lets wait until they actually do grow a spine. Currently that’s just Texas.

While what Texas is doing is supremely Based and Red Pilled, there is the issue of Federal Supremacy, and the fact that Texas has backed this goat rodeo in Eagle Pass up with what amounts to military force.

Biden (lets be real, his handlers) have to respond, and not just to be petulant assholes.
But again, what do they do?

The wisest option might be to demand SCOTUS rule on this to resolve the issue, but that could backfire spectacularly. Paxton has made an excellent point: the federal government is being derelict in its duties. If SCOTUS says, 'No, if you sit on your hands like this the citizens of the state have a right to redress the issue' that kills the Arizona precedent and suddenly sticks the feds with having to enforce or start calving off chunks of authority -- and no government likes to do that.

As the people in charge are bong-huffing retards, I expect they will try to issue arrest warrants for Paxton and Abbott. Which would be amazingly stupid, but y'know...

The party's in a crisis state. They're going broke in battleground states because people have wizened up to the idea that they just want to be paid to bitch and moan about how the country's going to shit rather than actually doing anything about it. If they don't give the people a reason to give them money, the party as a whole will be gone by the end of the decade.

Finally someone in elected office wiling to fucking do that

Allow me to pass some copium to certain "prominent members" of this subforum who were "done with me" over this very section, now that the most prominent state AG on the right and WDTX have affirmed my point in legal black and white.
HAHAHAH seeing feds get FUCKED IN THE ASS like this is to me what xannies and maker's mark is to ralph.

DRIVING BIDEN

Cartoon published 01/17/2024

Joe Biden’s pride and joy (besides his son Hunter) is his 1967 green Corvette Stingray convertible.

He keeps it in his garage along with secret documents he had stored in boxes. Notice how he never had to endure an FBI raid such as the one Trump endured.

If Joe were a car, he would bear little resemblance to his slick sports car. Instead he’d be a clunker fit for a junkyard.

His presidency has been a disaster on wheels. Biden has blood on his hands — starting with the deaths caused by his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. He didn’t seem to care about the brave soldiers who died. Likewise, he cares little about the hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians—and in fact, he suggested he might send in American troops. Then there is his love for abortion and the murder of millions of the most innocent humans of all.

From his failure to secure our southern border to his economic destruction, Biden’s presidency has burned more oil than rubber and his poll numbers reflect that. His campaign has been lurching more in reverse than forward. He’d rather spend his time on vacation than riding on the campaign road.

His handlers (most likely Obama and crew) certainly know this. The longer they delay, the worse it will get. They must figure out a way to replace Biden, but old Joe thinks he’s tuned up and ready even though he’s not operating on all cylinders.

The Democrats will have to ramp up the steal to get Biden elected. Expect the vote counts to get stalled while the Dems roll in more votes for Joe. The question is, will they risk such an obvious grand theft auto?
