I heard that too and it did sound like someone racking/re-racking the slide on a semi-auto pistol or something.

But if he was discharged from the military for a suicide attempt, wouldn’t that open him up for a felony gun charge? I don’t support gun control laws but if he’s got eyes on him now for his fast and loose interpretation of the law he could get jammed up by someone who is a lot more contentious toward him.

So I still know almost nothing about this cult. It doesn't even seem to have a name, I don't think it was cult it was probably just a loose confederation of people who do ERP.

It's ironic that he's been tackling a "cult", because imo he behaves a LOT like a wannabe cult leader:

- Has a special name for his followers (children) (i know most youtubers do this too)
- Is extremely parasocial with them, constantly lumps himself up with them, makes his actions "their" actions. Sometimes he says "we" in very out-of-place contexts, where he clearly is talking about something he himself did. Like he wants to blur the line between himself as an individual and his viewers as individuals
- Ultra-righteous crusade that he paints in an almost apocalyptic way
- Blurs reality and fiction by creating this ARG but not telling his viewers, simply treating it as true
- Strong us v them in a very emotional way: those who don't do exactly what we say and don't live up to our standards of behavior are pedophiles, pedo supporters, human traffickers etc (that fast scrolling text on a CRT where he says youtubers who don't respond to his shit video are "likely" molesters, that was truly unhinged)
- All those calls to action, constantly giving his "children" tasks related to the mission, constantly keeping the us v them mentality fed, constantly reminding them of their righteousness.

I'm just some retard online, but that level of emotional manipulation feels cult-y to me. The more of his content I consume (all via the callout vids, I cannot stand his voice and mannerisms for more than a a minute or two), the more delusional he feels. He truly sees himself as the concept of anti-pedophilia, and he's willing to go to insane lengths to maintain this image to himself, attacking anyone who doesn't feed that image.
