I think even Cuckman is smart enough to realize an Abby led TLOU3 would be a financial disaster.

The only way a potential third game comes out is a prequel or a very hard reboot.

They totally changed his facial structure, expressions, and the way that he holds himself. Compared to the stone cold motherfucker that he looked and carried himself as in the original, remastered Joel consistently looks like a kicked puppy and he loses a ton of his intimidation factor.
 
just gonna note remaster is a stretch of a title. i'd have gone with expanded or something since that at least fits with the new shit they're adding to the game. not like there's huge graphical improvements

There are literally zero graphical improvements. Based on the screenshots they very slightly upped the contrast and added a greenish filter over it.

This probably doesn't even meet the technical definition of a remaster but very stupid people will still buy it.

Some people say he looks a bit less built than before and his facial expressions a bit less vicious. OG Joel was this large man you REALLY didnt want to be on the bad side off, especially when "murder mode" is on. When you looked at him, you understood how it was possible he could beat someone to death with his bare hands.

The remastered version looks a bit softer in comparison, you could even argue that wasnt even their intention and its just an accidental thing (tho thats requires a lot of good faith).
Pedro pascal never came off to me as Joel, ever. He isnt built enough and he does mistakes that OG Joel wouldnt commit in a thousand years, so I guess they are writing him to be more loyal to his Part 2 counterpart (the moron that allows himself to be surrounded by people he doesnt know, doesnt have a gun on his person ready to go at the earliest opportunity and isnt making escape routes on his mind if push comes to shove)
