Boogie has announced that he's going to be at Corinth Comic Con again this year. Problem is, he only tweeted this announcement an hour before the event started:

This is the 3rd year in a row I've posted about how lazy he is with his commitments to these events. The TLDR of my other posts were that in 2022 he only announced he was attending the con 2 weeks out. Then I criticized him again in 2023 for only giving his fans 2 days notice. This time he's notifying his fans less than an hour before lmfao :story:

I can't stress enough about how much of a liability Boogie is with these things.

Are these cons so deprived of talent that they have to invite slobs like Boogie? How safe is a con if it invites a self admitted but un-convicted felon who pulled a gun on a retard over an internet fight? Do they think he's cosplaying a gamer-stereotype character from South Park or The Simpsons or something? Or is there a secret underground whaling convention going on behind the scenes and are they trying to harpoon this whale once and for all?

Wasn't it before one of these cons that he creep-posted to Ash Ketchum's voice actress?

Usually yes, "cons" are celebrity zoos where washed up people go to grift the last few sheckles they can until they die. Cons will invite anyone because they don't usually pay them, except for travel and hotel stay, the people showing up are expecting to sell signatures and merch. Except for the big big big cons that are just marketing for whatever product is coming out that you're being told to consume.

Why do you think they invited him? Sounds to me like he invited himself at the last minute, possibly because if they knew this fat fucking pervert was showing up beforehand, they'd invite him to stay away.

I just think he's way too lazy to come good on his end of the bargain by advertizing the convention. He goes about his business of tweeting, jerking off and stuffing his face and completely neglects his minimal obligation of pumping up the event he's attending.

I also strongly believe that the dude in the audience who accused Boogie of beating his ex wife was some fan who was planted by Boogie. No one accuses him of beating his ex-wife and he handled the heckler very calmly. Not bad for someone with cripling social anxiety

Most of these small cons that Boogie goes to are just outlets for starving artists to sell their niche junk to their small fanbase, or for people looking to get into "insert category of con here" such as starting voice actors or artists. I'm sure he can easily sway these people to easily pay for his economy class flight ticket and a 3 sitting day out in w/e no name city/town the con is hosted at. For Boogie it's free food and a chance for him to stroke his ego by talking to people while being an influential guest a double win for him.

I'm assuming you're memein. Boogie doesn't have "crippling social anxiety" like he says he has that's for sure. He only says that to trauma bond with people like he did with his wife slave. He goes to so many live events/panels there's no way he could have that if he actually goes out of his way to go to them. Should proof enough with his many videos of public speaking/panels that he certainly does not have social anxiety. If the shoe fits. In this case it doesn't.

Didn't know cons were so low-brow. Thought they'd be at least a bit more self-aware given how woke infested their industry and fanbase are.

The horrifying thing is that Boogie lacks the grifting methods the other washed-up celebs have; he's got no merch to sell and no one would buy his autograph even if he was selling. I think he's going literally just to creep on young female attendees and cosplayers.

Imagine a strapping buck of his stature having to go to a con of loser neckbeards to meet the young pussy (that's obviously legal, WILD that you'd think otherwise) that's falling over him anywhere he goes. You'd think that with his level of game, all the SlimPimp would have to do was go to a bar in any city he cruises through to get that.

I agree. Whether or not that was a plant idk but Boogie has had so much exposure lately with the documentary, he would definitely attract some nearby or even traveling trolls. Didn't he mention being "scared" of Muta'a followers?

Years ago I used to be a Boogie/Francis fan but I've grown to dislike him more than Wings, Cyrax or even Chris Chan. He's as bad as DSP just in different ways.

Boogie2988 belongs in jail.

Wings, Cyrax and even Chris-Chan have some excuse for their behavior, even if it isn't enough of an excuse. Well, not so much Wings, but he also isn't as much of a piece of shit as Boogie anyway. Thing is though there is a shred of truth in what Boogie said but of course we all know why he said it, as it was an obvious excuse for himself. I have no doubt that there are some really weird parasocial fucks out there in Mutahar's community that would come to Boogies place but lets be real here the reason again Boogie even stated that wasn't because of an actual fear for his own safety.

On a side note I'm surprised there isn't some sort of Sam Hyde wannabe copycat trying to clout chase by visiting lolcows trying to one up what he did.
