THE BRAZILIAN PUNISHER

Pedro Rodrigues Filho (affectionately nicknamed "The Brazilian Punisher") was a serial/spree killer vigilante and YouTube 📸 star 📸 best known for killing 71 criminals inside and outside of jail (71 is the confirmed number, it is likely that he killed plenty more).

Pedrinho began his kill spree by targetting local gangsters, politicians, and law-enforcement who were messing with his family, and then later his own family members when they started getting abusive to him. In prison, he quickly built up a reputation as a ruthless, homicidal maniac that no one should ever cross.

Pedrinho was released in 2018 and quickly started a YouTube channel called Pedrinho EX Matador, which he used as a platform to rally against police ineffectiveness in Brazil. He was shot to death on 5 March 2023 at 10 PM in his home of Mogi das Cruzes doing what he loved: killing drug-dealing thugs.

How bad does life have to get that you finally snap and start gunning everyone that is making your life difficult?
Mass shooters target strangers but this guy decided to deal with the people who fucked with him.

How do you get abusive towards the guy who killed gangsters, cops, and politicians? All the others I get but the family stuff gives me pause.

The story goes like this: His father was abusive towards him and his mother. One day his mother was stabbed to death by his father when he was a kid. Some years later when both of them were doing time Pedrinho stabbed his father to death and allegedly ate a piece of his heart.

Pedrinho was a troubled person since childhood. His first murder attempt was when he tried to shove his own cousin into a sugar cane grinder. He was 14 at the time.

It is unknown who was his first victim. Most of his killings are all unconfirmed and he allegedly killed the vice-mayor of his hometown but it was later proved said vice-mayor died of natural causes. He started his life crime dealing drugs and perhaps that's what first landed him into prison. OTOH it is known that he killed a lot of people in prison which earned him a bigger sentence.

People say he was isolated from other inmates because apparently he was "too dangerous" but it's a known fact that incacerated punishers become an easy target in prison.

In interviews he would justify his killings saying he was only after rapists or people who kill after robbing others.

All in all whether he was a punisher passing judgement or merely a mass murderer we perhaps will never known. Brazilian prison data is not something easily accessible to people and the media has a bad habit of spreading hearsay.
