Having said that, the TTS and racist challenges will probably be a lot harder of a sell to normies. Think about how hard TTS went after Summer for being a coal burner and realize every normal woman on the west coast or north east is a race mixing whore. Sam, Jet and company could make staying on the show a lot more enticing by offering more than $50k. As it is, any applicants they get are either attracted to MDE clout or willing to spend a month and a half trying to win a grand prize equal to less than the median household income before it's even taxed. Sam mentioned in the Michael Malice interview that contestants are paid something even if they lose but unless the rate is enough to somewhat compensate for a normal person's job like Big Brother's $1,000/week, surely you can't cast normal people instead of losers with no responsibilities or dignity. At best you might be able to fill a house with aspiring actors but I think I would rather jump off a bridge than watch a season of Fishtank made up of 10 Duanyes.

Danye says that it's normal for thick hair to take 45 minutes to shave. Yeah, maybe if you're trying to do a good job. This is the fish tank, just cut off most of it and shave the rest. TJ also had thick and longer hair and it didn't take this long.

this is the other part its too damn long. CBS did 4 weeks of competition for the amazing race at first but the contestants got lazier and jet lagged by the end, once they cut the race down to 3 weeks it became a lot snappier, and the race would be a lot closer throughout. even survivor is 40 days and that has 2x as many people.

people get too normalized to where they're staying and you can't get a rise out of them anymore. look at how little phased letty by the end. While they could easily pay more, they would be better off making it take less time. IIRC none of the fish had jobs and/or they had to quit their jobs to join the show because no workplace will let you take 6 weeks off. two weeks is a lot more acceptable.

Having said that, think about MTV and how little they pay out and how long they film people for reality shows, no doubt in my mind they could have cut the prize money in half and still gotten these freaks on. Its about the experience, not about the money. especially with the age of the fish. its not like letty would have been doing something besides masturbating if she didn't get on fishtank.

I always thought it was weird for Fishtank to run so long when the IcePoseidon prison streams that Sam claims inspired him last a week at best. Must be to drag out the paypig grifting.

Shinji said something about "respect" and Sam made fun ("that's what I thought"), because it's been obvious for the last few days that Shinji is sick and tired of the lard monster. Sam then told Fatty to shave his head. Shinji kept asking Fatty to be gentle and looked absolutely miserable towards the end.

Trish said she wants to stay. She's officially a freeloader. TBH I wasn't expecting this ending but I'm actually glad because I like Trish.

sam and jet just confirmed that Tay, TJ, and Shinji are going to make the final three. sam admitted that shinji didnt get any attention from production because of the language barrier. supposedly the rest of the competition will be a non-rigged competition between the three of them.

i think everyone should be happy with that as long as the competition actually isnt rigged.

Everyone seems happy. It's pretty sweet after how down everyone has seemed before now. I think it's a combination of relief to be the top three and not losing a fish on bad terms. They probably expected her to lose and then have a sad exit. This is a much better alternative.

Has there been a real reaction to ANY of the eliminations this season? I can't think of a single one. When someone got eliminated during season 1 it was emotional and had weight to it. When Jon got voted off Josie was visibly upset and hugged him, Sylvia broke into tears when she was eliminated and Sam actually teared up when giving her send off speech. Even Damiel the plant gave an apology to Letty before leaving that waas at least something. There was actual weight to what was happening. There is none of that in season 2. No one cares.
