You can definitely tell Hillenburg is no longer with us just by the quality of it. It's weird, the animation is weird, the art style is weird, and there doesn't seem to have been much thought put into it.
Also did Spongebob get a new voice actor? His voice sounds nothing like I remember as a kid.

Looking at this over Twitter while I download it. Holy shit how is this real, this can not be actual professional work. This is the worst masking I've ever seen in my life, I've seen actual college freshman mask things out better. It looks like they didn't even think to feather it a little. For those not technically in the know, masking is pretty much tracing an object like her head in After Effects, it's time consuming and tedious but it's not difficult to get a much better result. You could probably do better.

Edit: People used to put work into movies, now we have dissapearing cels in a digital movie. Surely this has to be some kind of in production cut.
