Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Is that actually true? I've been playing the game nonstop for the past 4 days and I did notice the gun animations were kind of memorable, for lack of a better word, but in a good way. Despite the game having literally 0 recoil, something is giving me a proper sense of feedback but I can't pinpoint what it is.
Really read about how crazy the whole dev experience was:

Its under

Miracle 1: A young ace with a 20-year-old convenience store who is inexperienced in the industry.

This is real・・・.
I can't write this reply in 25 minutes. Enthusiasm exudes from the text.
Moreover, it is amazing to rush this point without being afraid of it.
The points were also relevant.

It's definitely a human who has been playing a lot of FPS since around the day and is detained in gun animation.
I wanted such a person. You should make a gun game with people like this.
The Internet is always on the side of those who don't have it.

Immediately contracted for business consignment. To my surprise, he was still 20 years old. Moreover, it is a junior high school graduate.
At the age of 20, I used my own internet to develop my animation skills and uploaded my gun reload animations to Youtube and Twitter as a hobby. (Moreover, its number of regenerations exceeds hundreds of thousands of times )

I had to be shy about whether this was a talented young man of our time.

I was convinced that it was such an era, as I had already adopted one genius on the 2D art side ( Miracle 5 reference ).

I had a business contract and worked together remotely for about a month, but I was inexperienced in the industry and had never touched UE4, but he remembered it early.

He was also polite, quick to remember and active. Such young people cannot usually be taken by a small company.

Immediately I told him that I wanted him to work full time in-house.

It's natural because I'm a young man. Whether it's a convenience store part-time job, a 20-year-old, or a college graduate, it has long been irrelevant in the gaming industry.
No, unfortunately it doesn't know if it's relevant in the now mature gaming industry.

But it doesn't matter in pocket pairs. You can have the strength.

I contacted him immediately.

Its long and includes some of the sample work to youtube. The machine translation to English only adds to the charm.

its early access and just had a fun core game loop, I dont see how development can be "cheated".
There's videos and clips of the meshes looking very similar to existing pokemon meshes, but things are obviously different. Realistically, I think they ripped existing pokemon and changed enough for it to be legally distinct, and if AI helped then whatever. It's early access and I'm sure the monster designs will continue to be polished and made even more legally distinct. It's a jap company, and japs are known for copying or re-using each other's character designs without crying to court over it very often. Nintendo will, if they think they have a case, but they won't if they think the PR hit will be worse for doing so. Maybe. This game's success is a huge embarrassment to Nintendo/Gamefreak.

How Nintendo/Pokemon Company act legally in regards to their IP is why I think the PalWorlds devs are fine. I mean these same designs were showed off two years ago and there’s been nothing about it from Nintendo and no changes from the devs. Idk I ain’t no legal man, but I know how retarded Nintendo is when it comes to IP protection and if they can get Minecraft and Roblox to take down stuff fast I’m sure as shit they could’ve done it to this small ass company.

I don’t really see Game Freak taking anything from this game. I could see Nintendo or one of their studios taking something from Palworld though. Like a Xenoblade game where you have to catch monsters and use them to help build things etc.

I love this. I absolutely LOVE this. A scrappy Jap team that hired talented hardworking people (the gun guy was literally a kid that works at 7-11 type place that made gun reload animations on youtube) from non standard locations is destroying a big American company. They can't contain the racism that the non-pozzed japs are doing better then them.
By the end of the month, we'll have Western devs calling for another nuclear bombing, this time on Tokyo.

I think I first started paying attention to the animations when I noticed the character spinning the packing rod when reloading the musket. Somebody on the animation team was absolutely having fun with things.

Damn... I missed out since I skipped straight to the makeshift handgun.

On a slightly unrelated note, Im kinda sad that there isn't an upgraded crossbow. Projectiles feel super satisfying and its sad that everything eventually just becomes hitscan or rocket launchers.

A repeater crossbow ala Dark Souls' Avelyn would be a pretty neat mid/late game upgrade. Especially since it seems like the Free Pal Alliance guys only use crossbows and arrows, versus the Syndicate dropping gun ammo.
Does this game pause in single player? Interested in it, but can't commit to any game without pausing right now.
I think everything still runs when you pause, but I did see a post about a workaround on cs.rin.ru using UniversalPauseButton. Haven't tried it myself.

The discourse around this game makes me feel vindicated as fuck
I've always thought for the longest time Pokemon is an alright franchise but has outdated gameplay for decades and could be so much more better and seeing more and more people come to realize that is vindicating as hell
not just that but being a fan of digimon and having to deal with these annoying cunts spout their usual bullshit when they see any other series in the genre makes witnessing how everyone is collectively dunking on them and their franchise a refreshing sight and while I may not buy this game because I'm not into survival crafting stuff I am actively cheering it on and hope it has a prosperous future

There's no "servers", you just open a world and play with your buddies using invite codes.
There is dedicated server support; you can run them yourself either privately or connected to the community server list. Another reason to support these devs -- actual dedicated server software. Runs on Linux and Windows.

The way zoomers crave for a legally powerful entity to crush them into submission is... a fetish?
They're all accustomed to running to the nearest authority figure for vengeance the moment they feel the slightest discomfort. It's all they know. They can't fix the boo-boo themselves, so they have to go find bigger boots willing to stomp for them.
