Shit I need to in my line of work. Jordan really needs to (and would as well in the US) but he chooses to slander people and even if he's just fried mentally he KNOWS he's got a big target on him so he should cool it with the baseless claims. Beautiful is both individually and culturally chosen.

Early on in his path to fame, there was a fellow professor who wrote about the cultish following he garnered among some students and also his tendency to make unsubtantiated claims about subjects outside of his field, and to make such claims as if they were undisputable truth. Or that's how I remember it. At the time I thought it was just a smear job, but now I can see it's a longstanding shortcoming of his.

It was written by Bernard Schiff. It was from 2018 and titled provocaticely "I was Jordan Peterson's greatest supporter. Now I think he's dangerous."

This is the way it always has been on both sides, Canada and JP alike. JP's major hypocrisy is that he readily uses the same tools that are used against him. Namely the victim game. This particular drama was just him drawing another 15 minutes of attention on himself by shouting, "Look what they're doing to me!"

JP's net worth is about $10 million. His daughter, Mikhalia, has a net worth of about $2-5 million. They're exceedingly well off and then some. Why the fuck does anyone care if he loses his license?

No, she is a Christian. Baptized and raised protestant. I think she recently shifted to Roman Catholicism. Begs the question why she married a non-believer, but w/e.

JP has this false idea that Jews, Christian, and Muslims are all compatible since they all worship the same god. This just goes to show that he and even his wife still look at religion under an abstract lens and, as Boomers tend to do, they see Christian values as bolt-ons rather than integrals.

I don't even think this is a ridiculous situation at this point. He's making it sound as if they're going to drag him off to some camp and force him to be "re-educated" North Korea style. In reality he would probably just have to watch some training videos. He's only doing this to prove a point and his constant need to play the martyr is getting really, really old. He isn't even practicing anymore so this makes absolutely no difference to him personally, especially since he's raking in cash from his online grifting career. He's set. His conduct on the net has been pretty deranged and I don't see any issue with him having his license revoked as a formality, in certain professions for obvious reasons you have to conduct yourself in a certain manner. Also as far as I understand he was breaching confidentiality and talking about his patients, that's a big no no. Free speech absolutism is a nice idea on the surface but the real world is not subject to idealism.

Pretty much this. And he has a job at DW that’s probably generating more money than he did as a tenured Canadian psychologist.

Mikaela might still have the mentality of wanting more money though. I mean, she admitted to JP that the genesis of her meeting Andrew Tate because he was a “millionaire kickboxer”. Don’t know if that’s still her mindset for certain, though.

I read the 19!!! page smear job by one of Peterson's fellow professors earlier today. KF was having trouble though, so I may have forgotten some pertinent points.

Notes

- it was an Opinion piece by a fellow professor back in 2018 in the Toronto Star. The Star is either the first or second biggest paper in the country, but it's a filthy commie rag.
- The author must be old as fuck because they took "early retirement" back in 2001.
- The author did know Peterson fairly intimately. He lobbied to get Peterson hired at the University of Toronto in 1996. Peterson also lived on the third floor of his "big house" at one point while JBP's own house was being renovated.
- Predictably, the author also has a "transgender daughter",
- The author also had beefs with Peterson dating all the way back to 1996-2001 because a single student review of his course accused him of something like "stating his opinion as fact like a preacher"
- This professor seemed to be JBP's boss at that time. He audited some of his lectures and similarly critiqued Peterson in private that he was "stating opinions with too much conviction".
- He holds it against Peterson that he once quipped that he mused about buying a church and giving sermons.
- The article throws around "alt-right" and "far-right" constantly.
- The professor literally does the "there's nothing wrong with Marxism as an ideology, Stalin just didn't get it right" defense and meme.
- He holds it against Peterson that an independent media org Ezra Levant/Rebel News crowdfunded Peterson's research project after the government research grant org denied his application.
- He thinks Peterson is dangerous because he may have had passing thoughts of running for the leadership of the federal and provincial right-leaning parties
- The prof accuses Peterson of being guilty of some policies the new Conservative provincial leader enacted about free speech and university funding. But goes on to admit there's no proof "but that doesn't mean he couldn't have".
- He factchecks JBP's assertion re: coerced speech re: pronouns by adding it to the Canadian federal Criminal Code. He claims Peterson is lying that he could go to jail for refusing to use proper pronouns. The prof uses circuitous logic that it's only a fine, and even if he goes to jail for not paying the fine, that somehow doesn't count.
- The prof sent an email to Peterson admonishing him about the pronoun stuff, telling him how disappointed he was. Peterson called him back the next day. The prof continued to scold JBP and got mad when Peterson interrupted his scolding to tell him "I feel so strongly about this that I'm willing to lose everything". They never talked again.
- Lots ot innuendo that Peterson is a Christian and a man of faith, which makes his teachings "dangerous"
- JBP's wife Tammy sent the prof a chain email once about being concerned about "the transgender agenda", so the prof thinks they are both political and dangerous.
- The prof thinks JBP's existence is dangerous for "women writers" because they can't criticize him for fear of being mobbed by his followers online
- He now regrets advocating to get him his job in '96 at the U of T
- He compares JBP's "12 Rules to Life" as dogmatic like the Ten Commandments
- He again makes solispstic arguments that Peterson was being untruthful stating he was at risk of losing his job as a professor in 2018 even though his university admin sent him official communication telling him to cool it and that he was bringing it into disrepute

TL;DR

Fellow commie professor who knew Peterson well prior to 2001 pens hit piece in commie rag because of their tranny son about beefs they had thinking JBP was too radical 2-3 decades ago.
