It is amazing how he will not just let up on memberships and superchats and just demand all revenue comes to him via tips. Since he'd actually get more money that way I can only assume the reason he doesn't is for at least two reasons:

1. They're not as blatant as tips so it's harder for his dents to see the literally hundreds of dollars in superchats and memberships that he was getting before the "Argentinian exploit" was found.
2. He needs them to feed into his ego that he has hundreds of unique viewers instead of the maybe 100~150 regulars that his streams typically see.

He knows many people won't tip, especially since the ones with any sense know Dave doxes people and has all your info. It's also just easier to give money through Youtube/Twitch.

If it was really all about tips, he'd be on Twitch now.

My question for this, since im curious; Is it illegal or against the rule to pay using a different currency from the one youre from when buying memberships?

OF COURSE NOT! This would not be an issue for 99% of channels on Youtube because most channels don't have some convoluted member based submission clip show. I guess it could be called an exploit but really it shouldn't be considered one, gifting memberships to a community no matter what the cost is shouldn't be actively harming anyone.

It's entirely his fault that gifting memberships destroys his reACK channel FOR SOME REASON you would think a bunch of members would be a good thing and increase people wanting to hang out and good vibes AND CHILL but no it's all a bunch of dang dirty favela scumlords

and him cancelling members to double dip his entire community across three channels is not the trolls fault, not youtube, it's just DSP being greedy and retarded. Doesn't he have a forum or something? I am sure there is a way to "fix" this without scamming his entire community. I'm almost skitzo enough to believe he's sending these troll donations himself just to create drama as an excuse to scam everyone and have them repurchase memberships in the middle of the month so he gets paid twice.

If you want to amuse yourself try enter "membership exploit youtube" or something like that. you would be surpised how many DSP hits you get on the first page of the search results. But I didn't find any REAL complaint about this "exploit" Maybe I didn't use a very refined search but to me it seems as if this sin't widely known or widely used.

I'm pretty sure The Spiffing Brit used it in one of his live Youtube exploit streams. I'm pretty sure that's where I first saw it being used.

The Argentina meta has been known in vtuber spaces for a long time, the same way the Russia meta was known for Steam. It's just that neither don't really give a shit, I heard something about Russians not being able to buy games for a while but I believe it was due to Maestro, Mastercard and Visa fucking Russia in the ass and not Valve itself.
