Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

I wonder why they went so out of their way to make ice organs such a pain to get. It's like your choice are either
>Starting area penguins (not guaranteed, kinda low rate since they share all their areas with foxparks)
>conservatory kingpens (not guaranteed AND its 2 minutes just to swim there and back)

So pretty much you don't get a reliable option till level 30 when you can fuck up the snow mountain.
It is a bit strange they let you buy fire, electric, and venom organs, but not ice organs from the merchant. Maybe it's intentional to make you go out into the icy regions.

Why are these people so upset?? :lit:

He's an artist, so let's check on what sort of things he dra-oh god what the fuck why does it look like hair is coming out of the urethra
NSFW, I'm not uploading this
He has a few gnarly pics which may be good, I'm not an art guy though.

I've been playing this one the last few days with my spouse and we're so fuckin hooked. We just now got our food pouches so it auto feeds us and the pals when we're out exploring.
Also have the capability to start a second plantatio-I mean base. Did a boss run (which was exciting with two player while we switched aggro) and a dungeon.
The plan tonight is to explore (seriously love them just making the world elden ring massive).
The cherry on top is a bunch of people crying about my enjoyment of the game ala Hogwarts Legacy.

so someone in the comments of Legal Mindset’s video on if Pokemon could sue brought up this game was in development and known about for a few years and funded by Microsoft. Which convinces me that Pokemon likely knew and were either or go with it or struck some deal we don’t know about.

It would certainly explain why designs are so similar, all the big jap streamers are playing it and no one of any note is really mad.

I can't wait to play this game when I get home this week. it's not going to be for everyone but it's gonna hit such a hard niche of the Monstercollecting/factorio/base building crowd. the combat seems passable and "as a service" it does seem like it has alot of legs. the game not being forced PvP like Ark will help too

I think you're going to have a great time. Suspect dear leader would too.
The recent interview https://automaton-media.com/en/interviews/20240123-25950/ with the dev before the game blew up shows that they didn't just wanna tack on pvp without thinking. I do wonder what direction they're going to go but I'm excited.

Microsoft has had a fairly open access funding scheme for software in general for a long time so Im not surprised at all by that part.

Pocket Pair cutting deals with streamer agencies isnt news either- hell they were open about that from the start. TPC always could sue but honestly its easiest to apply occam's razor and just assume they never expected Palworld to explode this hard.

I dont know the intricate differences between JP and US copyright law, but if it was proved that TPC always knew about palworld for years and never tried anything, thats a massive blow against any case filing in the US court, since their copyright enforcement requires proof of rigurous defense. If anything, the smart move would be for them to play dumb and pretend they only just found out about palworld's existence.

I don't think there's really any reason for Nintendo/TPC to get into a legal battle at all. It won't help the brand, and if anything, the online drama just proves they already have a dedicated legion of hyperfanatics who will support them no matter what. Their best move is probably just announcing yet another game and watching the droves of people go, "Hah, enjoy your cheap knockoff! I'm going to go play the REAL Pokemon game!!!"

I have been waiting for this game almost 2 years. I was sure it would be successful but definitely not to this degree. Plus it triggered the worst of the worst from journos to nintendofags to soyny sisters.

literally the perfect game

EAT SHIT GAME FREAK I wish I have never touched that floppy disk in '99
