“Barbara Ann” was a minor hit for The Regents in 1961. The Beach Boys covered it and scored a major hit with it in ‘65. When “American Graffiti” came out in ‘73 the OG Regents version was on the soundtrack and had a bit of renaissance. Vince Vance and the Valiants released their parody version “Bomb Iran” in 1980, and John McCain famously referenced the Valiants parody version during his presidential campaign in ‘07

If I'm not mistaken, there was someone unfriendly to Trump in the room and said that he was referring to the generals in WW1 and not the soldiers.
If that's the case, then he's absolutely right. People were bringing calvary tactics to a mechanized war. Nobody knew how to fight that war and as a result, those generals got a lot of kids killed.

John Kerry was a joke of a candidate but honestly it all seems we could laugh about it together at the end of the day most of the time. I wasn't eligible but fairly close so I was kinda pissed but in retrospect most young voters just imitate their parents so I dunno if it would have really mattered.
Used to love this video by the way. Now it just makes me sad.
The average American can't afford food or rent, but there's always money for Big Pharma and EV companies. Can the power grid even handle this new influx of automotive necessity?

Did you ever hear any of the stuff put out by RX? He did some bit called The Party Party. Remixed a lot of poltical news and speeches into music.
I found out some years later that the guy who made this was some textbook commie retard, so the fun in the music got lost. Seems to be quite the time capsule when I listen to it. Again, sounds so innocent in comparison to today.
See, back then I could see it being something someone did for shits and giggles. Maybe there was more behind it, but I can't really say. Nowadays something like that would obviously be paid for to an influencer or stool Pidgeon by some DNC-shit-eating NGO or advocacy group to brainwash mothers into cutting off their son's balls.

I'm starting to get the sense that Joe Biden's dementia tantrums are getting worse. If the encounter with Obama and Joe Biden is true, meaning Biden blew up, it could be an explanation to some of the erratic policy we've been getting as of late. I'd wager people close to the President are leveraging these outburst to selectively justify decisions, the strings for the puppeteers. Could also be nothing, but I wonder none the less.

This is true for movie celebs only because movie celebs are quite useless and disposable. At best a tiny fraction of their fans who makes it to a movie premiere can take a 2 second pic with them.
It's different for singers because concerts are generally available to most of the developed world and they're a massive dopamine trigger, just the experience of being in a large crowd singing and swaying along and feeling a part of something huge is absolutely intoxicating to the brain chemistry of people who mostly no longer have a community as we used to know it.

Oh man, I haven't seen that in forever! That has some serious internet 1.0 feels to it. Even now I was laughing through the whole thing - there's so much funny shit in it and it's such a time capsule. The reference to Clinton's womanizing. It even had that crazy Howard Dean scream. It's so bizarre now to think politics were so tame back then that that scream is still being blamed for ending his run. Meanwhile now we have Nikki Haley giving victory speeches every time she loses and no one bats an eye.
It all seems so quaint now.

Here’s my grand political prediction for 2024 Election. If there even is a political debate between Biden and Trump (something I doubt) it will be such a transparently biased debate that the border/immigration will not be brought up and once again the topic of Israel and the Mid-East will be ignored despite the ongoing chaos.
I still am amazed how in 2020 Israel wasn’t brought up. I’ve grown up used to seeing the politicians all swear their full support to Israel and a state their quest to seek the impossible two-state solution. It was ignored because Trump could brag how he was the first modern president to not have some drama break out in Israel. Hell the biggest shitstorm in his tenure was that the Saudis murdered and chopped up an Arab-American journalist in Turkey. BTW hope everyone knows that of course Biden’s
Admin never got around to charging MBS. All the Saudis got was a strong public dressing down lol.
And beyond that Biden and Democrats can try all they want to blame republicans for this migrant crisis. I refuse to believe anyone but cult worshipping liberals can take such a thing seriously. Biden’s admin had two whole years to figure out something and they sat on their asses. I’m amazed at the irresponsible nature of this presidency.
So they’ll plug their ears with their fingers and ignore it. I imagine they will only obsess over Trump trials and indictments. And it’ll probably work because Trump just can’t see past the media.
I think he could win, but only by showing discipline and talking on the issues that actually matter. The majority do think Biden is a failure, it has simply been a miserable time nationally and especially in foreign affairs.
It will be a fascinating year to unfold. Can a man filled with hubris and narcissism focus on making the biggest sales pitch of his life?
All I know for certain is my greatest nightmare is hearing Joe resigns because everything Kamala Harris says is so stupid that it makes Joe and Don look like Richard Nixon and John F Kennedy circa 1960.
