Never said he was John McAfee and he wouldn't need to be, extradition has occurred for much less.
As for attempted murder, don't make the assumption that physical violence occurred. Most likely yes, but it would still be an assumption. For anyone to get stuck with an attempted murder charge there wouldn't need to be any bruises. If you aimed a gun at someone, or reached for a knife, attempted to push someone down the stairs etc.. all of which would show 'intent' to kill and would not require "bruises".

If Pantsuela has any evidence that can prove his intent to kill her then he could be charged with attempted murder. If she is being hyperbolic in her description of his physically violent behavior then its a battery charge, but certainly not a "domestic abuse" charge. They're not married or even a couple as far as anyone knows, plus I'm sure Mexico has different laws regarding what would legally be seen as "domestic abuse".
