Serious LGBT Discussion

Pride Month has gotten out of hand. It used to just be "yay woo gay stuff" and maybe waving the rainbow flag. But now its gotten so out of hand so commercial and run into the ground that people are so damn insufferable and extra about it, including allies who do the most in terms of being irritating. No not every business needs a pride flag. No folsom doesn't have to be extremely sexual. Used to be just leather gays marching and going to clubs. Now it is degenerate with literal shit in some cases.

Pride month is cringe.

I recently discovered the bisexual erasure phenomenon and subsequently the astounding amount of hatred bisexuals get within the lgbt sphere. I've even seen trannies demand the B get replaced with a P for pansexuals, because that's more heckin' inclusive or some bullshit, to say nothing of this recent "omnisexual" orientation. With this in mind, why on earth should I be expected to be an ally of a community that consistently eats its own?

bisexual erasure has been a thing for a while. If it's not trannies trying to replace the term with pansexual, it's homosexuals who insist that bisexuals are homosexuals in denial or that they are straights that will betray you to conform to "heteronormativety". both gay men and lesbians say this sort of thing.

that they are straights that will betray you to conform to "heteronormativety".
That one line says so much about the homosexual mindset and its simultaneously depressing and repulsive. My first thought is that, surely to God, a healthy relationship would be built upon mutual love and trust so that the homosexual wouldn't be paranoid that the bisexual would start to get second thoughts upon seeing the opposite sex looking good--and then I remember that the average gay man has 500 flings in his lifetime and that lesbians have an astoundingly high domestic abuse rate.

A small part of me feels bad for the bisexuals, knowing that this is the loving and tolerant community of theirs.

Bisexuals are hated by both same-sex and opposite sex partners. Same Sex partners feels like they can never offer a normal life and opposite sex partners feels like they can never connect on the same level as a same sex person would. That and the knowledge you have to compete with every person in the world is not a good feeling.

Coming from a massive faggot I can say that dating a bisexuals always ended the same way. "This was fun but i think I'm ready to have a family now" is one of the worst way to be broken up with.

Nothin' quite like bein' reminded that you're complete genetic deadend to make gettin' dumped feel even worse.

I'm gay and hate the gay community. It really is disgusting. Just go to pride and you will see it on full display. It's shameful.
Better to recruit someone with a hint of leviticus violation against the army of Sodom and Gommorah. In the end, we win. Welcome on board.

They haven't, they get their ideas on what a pride parade is from the most extreme examples. All I've been to were tame, fun events.
Same, a few people wore skimpy outfits after dark but otherwise it was tamer than dragoncon

just the fact that everyone remembers Freddie Mercury as a gay man is as kinda insane to me. I see a lot of people go far as saying 'yeah Freddie had relationships with women but he was gay because everyone says so, and lots of gay dudes are with women sometimes'

it's an insulting level of denial some people fall into when it comes to this
