The numbers show what the RNC and DNC spent money on for fiscal year 2023. the republicans spent more money on flowers and limos than get out the vote registration or maintaining a voter database, which is what the democrats did.

There's approximately a 0% chance the DNC only spent 117k on consultants (not to mention the 7k on limos is way lower than reasonable) and the only GOTV activity shown is text messages, so obviously not the full story. Republican's GOTV from what I've seen is all in-person door knocking with volunteers until the last few months and it turns into paid doorknocking (with the occasional intentional botch job like the GA senator runoffs).
Both parties state allocations are too low. There's no way these numbers tell you much of anything, probably because the way the parties break down their budgets is different so it's not a good comparison.

If we don't get the budget under control we will, at some point, lose the US dollar. That would entail cutting a lot of gibs, which is unpopular. Since democracies, even representative republics, are basically popularity contests, that will never happen. We will push onward until the decay or collapse into balkanization or a dictator of some variety.

I don't know the time frame, I just can't think of a way out of this with an intact constitution.
