Something important to try to understand her "rationale" is that when the Telegram account posted the screenshot (Jan 31st 2:21PM) the FBI exoneration of the Swede had not yet been circulated. At that point we did not know for certain that the feds had looked into him and had cleared him, so a double-down smear tactic was still on the table. "He's framing me, he'd know what he had DMd me and made a fake screenshot!".
