other than doing it because they lie constantly and get away with it, it's also because of things listed in this article, only replace "narcissist abuser" with "the government" (always has been). mentally healthy people are less likely to fall for these tricks, but that group of people sure seems like it's getting smaller every year

Unemployment could be low, but if the cost of living is high and employment doesn't adjust accordingly, it doesn't matter. I hate when they do that.
