Can I enquire where Kat fits into this theory?
She has to know about his spending.

The likely answer is the simple one... Phil can burn all his money as long as he spends enough on her to live comfortably in the Snort Fort playing Skyrim on her tiny monitor and eating 5000 kcal of Doordash.

We're never going to get true answers to any of this, so whatever.

She was (is?) playing some dumb Scopely Looney Tunes gacha game. I don't know if she knows the full extent of how much he spends, but she's not any better than he is when it comes to spending money.
She would have to have spent $10K on this game to even be in the same ballpark as him. But I get it, two gatcha peas in a gatcha pod.

I think you're being too dismissive of that hypothetical. So Phil begs his ass off upstairs, then comes downstairs to veg out on the sofa snuggled up with blubbersaurus with his arm outstretched casually blowing much of that revenue on a fucking retarded sweaty man mobile game. She has no issue with this?

No jealousy that Phil is spending more money on virtual men in front of her eyes? No guilt complex regarding what is done to earn this money? No frustration over time that could be spent together is instead spent locked in his room to earn another pull? No feelings that her work is being devalued when she works to pay the bills, while Phil works extra to pay for virtual assets? No envy that the money could instead be used to ensure they have a happier and healthier life?

It's speculation territory because there's no information, but this lifestyle you want me to believe is highly suspect. Especially with how brazen both of them are with showing their faces and vehemently denying the claims that are put to them. Unless they fancy themselves to be Bonnie and Clyde, and get their rocks off on behaving badly together in plain sight.

Nobody is denying that Discord acc exists, but it was never confirmed it belonged to Phil. The hidden ID attached to the acc is what matters. The name and four digits can be changed. The mods in the private Discord to my knowledge never confirmed during that window of opportunity that the hidden ID matched the acc in the guild groups. That would have nearly validated everything. How the imposter DSP knew what real DSP's Discord acc was during that time, I have no idea. That's something I cannot deny. Btw, if I were to impersonate someone online I would definitely ensure the "ooo"s would be the same amount.

How are you proposing the 'imposter' changed his discord number to match Phil's?

It feels a little convenient to accidentally leave your iPhone just out of frame with the WWEC roster clearly in view. It's very theatrical. Phil knows how to rile people up and torment them. He is eager to tell others on pre-stream how so-and-so said this, and he's been laughing about it all night. Very immature, but that's what gets him off. Totally plausible he purposely showed the phone to rekindle the theory, so once it disproves itself he can weaponize it with greater power and flip the scales on the perceived years of slander, yadda yadda.

Whenever you wonder if Phil is pulling any elaborate op the answer is almost certainly no. Thats not his style. I'm not even sure he has the imagination for it. I've been following Phil for a long time and I've never once seen him behave like your stereotypical kiwi with hidden traps and multistage years long plots. An op for phil is hamming up being an idiot in the bully geography class in the hopes that people would think his first playthrough was a gag. Thats about as far as his mind extends for deception ploys. Feel free to chime in if you can think of an elaborate plot phil has pulled.

As with Fapcop, I'm disputing the assumption that someone would blow tens of thousands of dollars as an elaborate troll. It's the other way around. They are already into blowing money on a mobile game and added in DSP and his communities for an added bonus. It raises the question if the ruse has been tried on other people who lean on an audience for financial support. If it's as easy as a whale changing their name and imitating their mannerisms, then why not.

So you're saying both DSP and nawtDSP are working together in this elaborate years long scheme to convince people that DSP is playing champions? Why and how would this scenario even arise? Does Phil (since according to you he doesn't play enough to be let into the hardcore WWEC clans) have a bar in Renton he goes to filled with other WWE champions players? Did DSP contact nawtDSP before or after nawtDSP decided to troll detractors? Or was it the other way around and nawtDSP contacted DSP and somehow got infamously paranoid phil to trust him and go along with this gag that wouldn't earn him any money at all? The mechanics alone just raises so many questions.

If this was a troll why would NawtDSP sit quietly for years waiting for people to stumble on to the account? Was he bursting out in school girl giggles every day thinking to himself. 'Man it sure will be funny when some years down the line detractors stumble on to my account and think its DSP! Err...if they stumble on it...I sure hope they do...but I'm just going to not to do anything but sit here and keep hoping.

Why, when detractors did find an account did a switch flipped in his head and he went from inaction to moving mountains to make people think the account is Phil?

But he's not interested in doing something obvious and simple like trolls usually do. No he's going to go full Jason Bourne with a far subtler route which requires immense technical and psyops skills that would make a CIA agent blush. Rather than acting like trolls almost always do trying to get as much attention, he'll hide away and run from clan to clan, analyze and replicate subtle Phil speech mannerisms, hack his bank account to add suspicious charges, hack Discord and the Line app. While as you said he didn't start the account and spend hundreds of thousands just to mess with phil, he IS going to immensely sabotage his progress with this game just to mess with phil...or to work with phil, who in all other things has little concern other than what will make him money as quickly as possible but is somehow fully on board with this.

No half measures for terminally online detractors drooling at their keyboards.

Why stick with Phil if he's burning enormous amounts of their money away on junk? Marriage is share and share alike. It's their money, she has a right to confront him on the frivolous splurging.

If hypothetically she is aware of his gacha game addiction and wishes to defend him, why not play the game on his behalf on-stream to throw detectives off the scent? A co-op game of sorts.

Kat has no leverage that would get Phil to stop playing gatcha, while also maintaining her current standard of living.

Say she's aware of what is going on, and issues Phil an ultimatum. He tells her to mind her own damn business. What's she going to do?

Leave? Kat has no friends or family, and she's a hambeast with no education or life skills.

Divorce him? Even if she could find a lawyer, Phil is a bankrupt deadbeat with no savings and a rotting condo.

Exposing Phil publicly would be entertaining for the detractors, but she has nothing to gain from it. Best possible scenario is that she's working her shit retail job full time in a crummy Washington apartment as a divorced 30 something.

OR, she keeps looks the other way and ignoring his addiction. In return, she does a bare minimum of housework and cooking while getting all the booze, doordash and Xbox she wants. And unlike other trophy wives, she never has to pretend to be attracted to her husband.

Can I enquire where Kat fits into this theory? She worked a blue-collar job during COVID to support the family (him).
Most people suspect that they have an agreement where she gets to keep all the money she earns (maybe she pitches in for food and necessities). Also, COVID was a huge boon for DSP, a hermit who likes to stay inside and relies on dents staying inside, who suddenly have loads of loose cash in their bank accounts because of inflation and stimulus cheques. DSP was also debt free, he was raking it in.
Where does she think the money is going?
I doubt she has any thorough understanding about their finances. During his bankruptcy DSP insisted that this is *his* bankruptcy, I doubt he even let her look at a single form. Also, she doesn't care about Phil. I don't believe that she 'thinks' about his obnoxious ass very much at all.
She must have caught wind of the theory and investigated it at this point.
No? She's seriously stupid, and again, doesn't care.

Edit: I forgot: I also think DSP made a genuine effort to hide his gacha addiction from her in the first couple of years ("oh honey, i'm sorry, i need to work in the ahffice late today *points thumb*, babysitting uploads"). Probably stopped bothering with that when he admitted that he still plays during the Side Scrollers interview.
Why stick with Phil if he's burning enormous amounts of their money away on junk?
Roof over the head for free, no other options, retarded?

You've conveniently avoided the fact Phail has admitted to playing the game.
And has been filmed playing. Kiwi made this helpful gif here.

The biggest flaw with devil's advocate's post is it assumes Phil and Kat are an actual loving couple. They aren't. They are essentially roommates. They aren't curling up on the couch while Phil plays WWE they are silently sitting on opposite ends of the couch. Phil has an entirely separate bank account which he no doubt keeps hidden from Kat. Does she likely suspect he's blowing his money? For sure even a retard like Kat could tell that but like the two previous posters have pointed out she has no backup plan. Kat leaving Phil would lead to a life of poverty and misery. Working 40 hours a week living in a cat lady apartment waiting to die. It's even more bleak then her current living situation.

Every question this retard has could be answered within literally 30 seconds of him clicking anything to do with his questions at hand instead of shitting up the thread with retreads of questions answered ages ago.

"How come Phil is a gacha addict?"
Because he always has been.
"How can Phil afford gacha?"
He makes 100k+ a year in confirmed tracked income.
"Why doesn't Kat care about him spending money?"
Because she's a barely coherent retard who doesn't care where his money goes as long as Doordash shows up on time.

Phil's ability to spend money with zero regard for Future Phil is a hallmark of Phil. Dude doesn't even pay his taxes on time.

Phil NOT being the one spending his money on gacha is a more retarded theory because we know he plays the game and he'd have to spend all that money elsewhere, because we know he's spending all his money on something on his phone.

His payments on the ios store are confirmed. Him playing the game is confirmed. Him using a discord he lied about for years is confirmed. Him spending money specifically on gacha multiple times in the past is confirmed.

The idea that Phil wouldn't instantly disprove this shit if he could to own the haters is also retarded.

Phil's spending on this shitty game has slowed down since he got booted from his guild(s), but even if he dropped the game today he would just start playing a new gacha game because he's a fiend. He's admitted to trying new gacha.

Phil likes Champions because he's whaled so hard he's effectively unable to lose the game and it's braindead easy to play. It's literally a match game. There's zero thought. More than anything else in the world Phil likes winning and feeling like he's number 4 in the world, which Champions gives him. When he was in rhe guild discord you could see old messages of Phil genuinely discussing the game and being helpful because he felt like it gave him clout and made people look up to him.

Pretty sure it's been posted before, but the DSP Iceberg Supercard stream is a pretty good overview how serious Phil takes this kind of game and how important it is to his ego:

Kinda sad we're missing out on this kind of bragging and insulting the stupid developers, just because he couldn't find a way to marry his grifting to his gacha spending.

Kat fits nowhere and has no say in what happens in the household because Phil puts food in her mouth.

Where does she think the money is going?
That's his money and it's none of her business. She has her own money from the part time job she maybe still has.

Why stick with Phil if he's burning enormous amounts of their money away on junk?
Because she has nowhere else to go. Quite literally. Even if she wanted to. And I don't even think she wants to.

You're retarded please stop shitting up the thread. This has all been answered a thousand times before in excruciating detail.

The funniest thing about the Supercard saga imo was him bitching about "the elites," "the big spenders," "the top dogs" etc. and their bullshit "overpowered pay2win decks" when he always consistently ranked near the top 10 in the game. I swear this dude's underdog delusions run so deep he could have been consistently top of the leaderboard with a 99.9% winrate and he'd still bitch about some "trust fund elite high roller" in 6 paragraphs because he lost to him in 1 out of 1000 matches.

At one point, didn't he claim the bank leaks involved "thousands of dollars" of embezzlement? At least until people started asking him about police reports.
At some point I swear he claimed someone stole $9000 from his account. I saw the clip on someone's stream but I'd be fucked to find it. Said something along the lines of 3x $3000 was stolen from him and he didn't notice.

Then at some point the story flipped into him claiming nobody ever had access to his funds and he had received notifications of the attempted breach.

That's his 'fan' Jasper playing.

Thanks for this. I missed this one.
He definitely claimed it cost him "thousands to sort out"
Correct. "Thousands on lawyers". It seems he's scrubbed all the videos talking about this.

Not the lawyer quote but...................the amount of lies in such a short time span is impressive:

The lie about 'records being destroyed' is something else. Makes it seem like they burned down the building that houses the servers.

Here is his 'had to pay a ton of money' lie:

Here is the "over $1500 legal bill" lie

Here he blows up his own lie about money being stolen:

It really is funny watching him not remember his lies. First it was that he froze his accounts. Then that morphed into my accounts got frozen and I couldn't access anything.

"Hundreds of dollars in late fees" lie:

Yes, I just posted it in the archive thread, the original video is unavailable by the way, but that brief segment is saved.

I'm not a bankruptcy lawyer, but I believe it's possible to go broke investing money. He didn't, but it's fair enough to point out it isn't proven.
You can go broke investing money, yes. That's not what I'm saying. He filed for bankruptcy so he would have had to list any and all investments he made since it's considered an asset. He didn't list them as an asset, he'd have to file the paperwork for them as exempt. Sure, it's possible he's made investments and didn't list them, but that could have been seen as trying to hide assets if it had been discovered. Occam's razor and all that.

@Nate Dingus
I think you guys make the mistake of treating the DSP thing like it's a scripted reality TV show, or a cartoon. Real life usually avoids all those theatricals.

You may have been hypnotized by the meme conclusions that are drawn regarding Phil. Just because there's little to no available info about something doesn't permit you to run wild with tall tales, which eventually cement into becoming indisputable fact. I'm all for creative memes but DSP will never be a pig-roach hybrid lol. Splash some water on urself and just look at the facts with a clean mind.

@marlintan
"Kat is just a roommate, not a wife". Yeah, for all you know. Or not. But assume it is true, and apply the same argument I put forward to Linda. Is mother Burnell completely in the dark regarding the insane spending problem? Remember when Phil claimed he received cash from his mom which was not to be put towards taxes. So he happily took a wad of cash from mom knowing it will blown on virtual wrestlers. I suppose that jives with my preconceived notion of the man. That's totally in character with who I think (no, know) he is.

@myone
There's an old pre-stream while Phil was engaged to Leanna, when someone in chat presses Phil about the date of the wedding. Phil snaps back about how things take time, and until the legal work is ready, it would be messed up to marry her now, because if he died she would inherit all of his outstanding debt. I just thought that was a curious detail to explain to his stream.

@Blue Miaplacidus
Do you know where I can find the extended cut of that moment when Jasper knocks the webcam revealing the phone? I just want to confirm Phil didn't nudge the camera himself with his hand offscreen. Setting up a believable "Jasper just did that" round two.
