The inequality of physical bodies means the inequality of opportunity. So you can make a rule that women may now try to join the combat infantry, but they must pass the same physical test as men. Of course, virtually no women will pass this test, and if you were consistent, the few that do would soon be expelled for having sex with their comrades. Sure, but tell women that the reason they don't do as well as men even when given open favoritism in education, hiring, and promotion is unequal talent, and they lose their minds. First, we were talking about TERFs only, not women in general.
Second, I think that statement is a huge exaggeration. Liberalism is hegemonic in the West, and it largely works through a coalition of minorities and oppressed groups, not just women.
Since women in general tend to side with the progressive, human rights side, they will never fix the trans issue as a group alone.
What can fix these issues are pragmatic alliances across many groups, for one shared goal, where every component agrees to STFU until goal is fixed, after that, we'll see.
I'm goal oriented, there has been a buildup of anti-trans sentiment and in general most normies are OK with ostracizing such a tiny group, which cannot be said about deporting millions of migrants.
It's fine to have different priorities.

At Christmas I was laughing at some article about... I think it was the New York Fire Department basically nerfing their physical test requirements because they had idiotically mandated that firefighters should be 50% women and none of them could pass the original test (carry some fatass out of a simulated burning building).

I was guffawing away at how this was obviously making the fire department less capable, and more dangerous for the general public, and he suddenly shouted "Oh yeah, I bet you couldn't pass the test!" and stormed off upstairs.

That was literally his argument. I, me personally, couldn't join the fire department, so yeah let's lower the standard to let a bunch of weak-ass women in. Honestly, I think male "allies" are worse than women.

I declined (see what I did there?) to watch that initially, but then I did and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be.

The girl's autism was unbearable though, and the movie wasn't even that centered around Chess. It was more of a personal development story that only allowed her to win when she resolved her inner turmoil. Contrast this with some World Chess Champions that were less than stellar as individuals - Kasparov (and Fischer) was a fucking sperg and big time schizo and Tal drank and smoked his way into an early grave.

Yeah, I dipped in and out and the show surprisingly wasn't that bad tbh. I wish they showed more of the actual chess games though. The way they shot it, the actual board game could've been anything.
