Looks like its time for me to chime in.

No, the chick from SB is not a child, nor does she looks like one. Blue Archive, the gacha game he's talking about, is the one who has characters who are explicitly underage (an in, there is a wiki that shows their canonical age). Most of the cast is around the age of 11-18. The youngest playable character is 11 and most of the cast are around 15-17. Only 2 characters are 18 and nothing above that. The developers are Korean and seem to be banking on Japanese audiences in particular. There is a reason why posts with the term "cunny", "uogh" and the crying emoji face are used extensively when describing the fanbase, referring to said coomers lusting over underage girls. If anything, the developers know exactly what they are doing. Said fanbase is leaking towards other communities, especially towards loli-type fans, gun-related fanbases (hence you will see BA-related gun stickers on airsoft and are closely linked with the fledging Girls Frontline fanbase, another gacha game) and other coomer-based fanbases (like femboy communities).

I have several reasons why I personally dislike it and the unhinged fanbase though I mostly hate them for diluting the L4D2 workshop with their shitty skins.

Fair enough. I don't get why they added the lights, but there will probably be some variant without lights or way to mod them out when the PC version comes out.

In anime there's usually no way to visually distinguish adult and teen characters so it's less of a problem there, but some of those characters are indisputably children and probably shouldn't even be in a fan service oriented game at all tbh

Nikke JP branch stuck to just been using only adults for all of the nikkes in their live events and promos. Such as these promos
