Not a "need," but at least basic fucking hygiene affirms you in what you actually are, not in what you desperately want to be.
As dangerous as they can be, even breast augmentation surgeries for women are automatically better and healthier than troon surgeries for that reason alone.
At least shaving (or yanking out) leg hair doesn't involve self castration.

Whenever troons whine about "gender affirming care" for "cis" people...
They ignore the difference between denying reality and simply trying to look prettier.
Even tho what they whine about doesn't involve (trying to) completely overhaul a person's biology for the sake of a fetish, we still think it looks horrible and unhealthy when people overdo things like cosmetic surgery.
Cosmetic surgery for troons involves completely overhauling a person's looks, rather than (in the case of non-troons) amplifying what's already there.
Obviously when it's done to troons, this involves taking cosmetic surgery to uncanny valley levels. Non-troons don't have to go that far, and when they do, we also make fun of their ghoulish appearance.
Troons aren't special in that regard. Leave it to a troon to attempt to overcomplicate what is a simple fucking concept.
That's why you don't argue with troons, you just laugh at them for being willfully retarded. Or chuck them in padded cells if they refuse to unfuck themselves.

They didn't until the trannies came along and told them that "woman" wasn't a biological category, but rather a loosely defined set of feelings and aesthetics. So now they have decided they need to present feminine to prove that they are still women. Because if they dare to say that they can cut their hair short and stop wearing makeup and wear gender neutral clothes and grow body hair and still be seen as women they are saying that trannies don't magically become women just because they grew their hair out and starting wearing cheap dresses and caking their face in makeup.
