I don't think any of us here trust the government (no matter what political direction) to handle such an important task. In addition, it will always end up like South Korea where you have to enter your social security number for everything if you want to do something online.
I agree but don't think it'd be something that needed much direct government involvement beyond passing the necessary statutes, after which it's down to parents, teachers and guardians. We already withhold a lot of things from minors without the need for heavy-handeded government intervention. It'd need to be a whole-ass measure though - Prevent minors from having internet-connected smartphones, mobile devices, any form of unattended internet-connected devices. Setting the barrier somewhere online would be a huge mess, I agree.

This is the unfortunate reality. There is no "live and let live" because we've seen time after time that this shit keeps going too far. It's not a matter of letting consenting adults do what they want in the privacy of their own homes because they get bored of that and start doing shit in public or on the internet so other people can see. It's not a matter of just letting people dress how they feel comfortable and not judging them for choosing clothing that doesn't match our ideas of gender, because we then have to ignore AGP "bimbos" exposing children to their hyper-sexual bullshit in schools or in public. You want to support your child, encourage them to be who they are, and want them to find their place in the world, but you have these people telling them if their parents don't buy them HRT or allow them to get life changing surgeries the parents are abusers.
There are absolutely people like that. You just never hear about them because they have the wherewithal to keep to themselves and not draw minors into their orbit.
To an extent I agree, but I think it's due to nurture rather than nature in that regard. Autistic people tend to become ridiculously entrenched in whatever interest they find, if they end up stumbling across Hazbin Hotel, they're fucked and will probably start talking to weirdos on discord and be groomed into liking inflation faggot porn. On the other hand, an autistic guy could stumble across lolcows, find out it's way more epic to laugh at the other branch of autists and end up as a Kiwifarms user (or something more "normal" like finding financebros and becoming obsessed with the markets).

Solid agree. I don't really think it's much of an "It doesn't exist", it more so does and doesn't at the same time. Because people who are to live and let live don't do this kinda shit, and that's precisely why you don't hear about it. People with at least two braincells know where the fine line is and don't drag minors into their horsecrap or do other illegal activities.
I think it's not just autism but also a certain level of addiction as well, or some other mental problem. Because I don't give a fuck what anyone says, people who bring minors into their shit always have some mental problem or addiction, autism or no. I swear, unrestricted access to the internet fucked so many people and just now everyone has to deal with the consequences.
