General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

It sounds like Rosemi is on with Selen right now on her team in Apex, that's her voice for [GOSU] Niko.
I may be autistically missing the joke, but no, the female voice is Gumiho (of Among Us fame). Niko is a random viewer who sniped her and pulled off a pretty masterful hook to get invited into the party later. He speaks on mic occasionally and is obviously a male and obviously not Rosemi. Also Rosemi is kinda ass at APEX.

In the case of Niji arguing that either their talents or legal counsel are unaccountable third parties for whatever reason.
Interesting. I didn't realize that Canadian privacy laws were this strong. My high school level legal knowledge on the subject basically amounts to "don't rely on NDAs or medical confidentiality when actual legal shit is on the line", but I am an Amerimutt so whatever. This might be enough to change my perspective.

This MATI segment is going to be very funny.

That's it? Man, he didn't even cover the juicy parts of the whole thing. Kind of underwhelming, tbh. But considering the fact that Josh hates Anime and Vtubers not really surprising.

I don't think anyone sent Josh a good summary of the Nijisanji event until after the last call for stream content so it makes sense the coverage was half baked.

I was happy enough with the accurate asian accent and calling Sell-en a haffa.

I hope there's a big enough explosion down the line that he has a reason to revisit it, "gets it right" , and makes fun of the retards in this situation, but that's a bet I wouldn't take. I wouldn't get broken up as there are a lot of people you can hear a breakdown of this situation from that you'll consider wrong anyway.

You'd be wrong here in the US, too. We have shittier laws with less teeth, sure, between the ADA and HIPPA employers are *very* limited in what they can tell your coworkers, or every what managers can have access to the information you do give them.
