I'm glad I quit following his site around the time he was publishing his first book. Admittedly it'd be sadder if he really did try to keep up the Columbine-edgelord persona into his 30s-40s while doing personal appearances, but this hollow shell of a sellout isn't much better. I always figured he'd quietly move on to some high-paying corporate job, since he did seem to know his shit. If he did decide to continue cashing in on his satire, the only way I think it could have worked without hitting Emo Dad levels of cringe would have been to take it in the Archie Bunker/Lewis Black cranky asshole direction.

Either way, I'm glad I was unaware of this unfortunate turn of events. I can say I never would have guessed Maddox would turn SJW/Web 2.0 abortion.

So call me a tin-foil tard-e-tard if you think I am reaching too much here, but I think there are two prongs to Maddox becoming lame as fuck.

1st prong is his gf m3tal_jess aka jessica blum (google search her, you will see her cancerous social media stuff) basically a black metal edglord pc femicunt. Rumor is ahe has the herpes, which is why Maddox now whiteknights for herpes.


The seccond is ryan holiday. Basicly ryan holiday is a pr guy who invented the tactics of click bait and outrage porn. He wrote a book called "trust me I'm lying chronicalling how he started this cancer. What is his job now? Same fucking thing, except now he makes high profiles friends (maddox, dr drew, aaron sorkin , etc.) to peddle sincerity to his spin and push his naratives.

A great example of this is Maddox being against the Sony hacks. Maddox parroted the same exact verbatim garbage that the hack of sony and reporting on sony is as bad as publishing the nudes from the fappening.... And encouraged news outlet to self censor.

This is the same asshole who used to be a fan of wikileaks, the stratfor leaks, and against self censorship.

Who did Sony hire for pr after the leak disaster? Ryan holliday. Who wrote an op ed condemning the leaks? Aaron sorkin. Listen to anytime holliday is on any maddox cast how much he dick rides holliday and asks for his approval.

Why is the ryan Holliday link important? Maddox has been trying to grow a brand since the piolets for his shows got shot to shit. Maddox 2nd book didn't do too hot cause it was a 10+ year old joke when it came out that everyone was over.

Ryan holidays 2nd book is "growth hacking: growing your brand" and growing brands is Ryans job plus maddox agrees to spew bullshit for holliday when he asks.....

I distinctly remember that over the course of the podcast, Maddox kept getting increasingly, unreasonably assblasted by Dick's antics, but back then I thought that maybe half of the salt was hammed up for the audience. Part of me isn't surprised that it all turned out to be genuine butthurt, but seriously fuck Maddox for still trying to screw over Dick. Together with Sean, Dick was the only thing that made the podcast worth listening to and probably drew in half the audience.

edit: Also Maddox's favorite alcoholic beverage is Fireball cinnamon whiskey, so on that basis alone he is a lolcow
