At this point Nick is dead weight to the con and likely only returns with his own booth each year because Vic sticks up for him. I don't think even that is going to keep him in the con's good graces much longer. You could feel how the shitty state of the economy was weighting on conventions these years, and AM was most certainly no exception. 2024 does not have a much better outlook, so unless they truly have no better options I can't imagine Matsuri giving Nick any special treatment this year, especially when they're apparently able to snag actual relevant Youtubers like Critical Drinker and Meatcanyon, the latter of which was easily the biggest guest at the '23 showing.
At bare minimum if they have an ounce of sense they won't ever put him in charge of anything bigger than his own booth again. The way he handled 2023 was downright insulting and likely tangibly affected AM's bottom line. Cancelling multiple planned panels and rolling them all into one panel without so much as an explanation why is a great way to absolutely shit on everyone who's traveled to see you. AM's already having to piece their guest list together from duct tape and glue due to industry wide boycotts, having talent completely flout responsibilities is the last thing they need in the position they're in.

Let me introduce you to Paul Harrell. Paul is a long time gun Youtuber who retired several months ago, due to the rapid progression of his terminal pancreatic cancer. Sadly, he is in very bad shape and has at most a few months left. This week he posted a photo of himself with his recently received +1 million subscribers play button. This is what he looks like now:

Paul has certainly looked better. He's obviously unwell -- gaunt and looking frail. But given his situation he's holding it together as well as one could hope.

On the other side of our little comparison, our boy Nick recently crowed about successfully matching his college weight, and claimed to be at the peak of health. This is what he looked like during tonight's stream:

I don't know what Rackets is doing to himself. Maybe it's the drugs. Maybe it's the booze. Maybe it's his manorexia combined with his poorly suppressed homosexual urges. It might even be the weight of some legitimate family issue taking it's toll. I don't know. But whatever it is, it's worse for his appearance than literally dying of cancer.
