Here is a fun fact: RFK's book where he shits all over Fauci? Most of it is actually about AIDS.

RFK claims that it is a scam and doesn't exist. His claim is that the original deaths were because of people with shit immune systems coming down with stuff and dying because they were mostly vagrants and drug abusers and shit. However once it became a big deal there the treatments started and Antony Fauci (Science bless his name) pushed for treating it with a new antiviral drug called AZT which showed promissing results. Except it was also quite a toxic drug. And very expensive. But THE SCIENCE said it was good so it kept being tried for years until the early 1990s when it was abandoned for other treatments.

Funny how as soon as AZT was dropped fully AIDS mortality rates also crashed.

AIDS illnesses, like pneumocystis pneumonia and Karposi's sarcoma were killing HIV+ people for years before AZT was being used, and AZT was used (and I think, still is used, though someone like @Otterly would know better) in the combination drugs used to maintain HIV suppression, in the mid-90s and perhaps even today. AZT, used all by itself, by was dropped precisely because more effective treatments that supressed HIV load and hence prevented AIDS had become available in the mid-90s. This is not to say that AZT is totally safe and wonderful, but simply to point out that AZT as the cause of AIDS doesn't withstand scrutiny.

All that said, however, I extend my full and unqualified support for RFK in his quest to shit all over Fauci.

There’s something I’ve noticed for a while now. Right Wing crazies tend to be more deranged and schizophrenic in their delusions about politics and their conspiracy theories. They usually do actually have respect for reality, they can entertain a concept if they don’t agree with it.

Left wing crazies just deny and try to redefine reality. It’s not just demoralization, it’s abject rejection of reality. It doesn’t matter that the Russian collusion thing has been proven to be a large scale effort by entrenched bureaucrats and NGO’s to defame a President, the lie in their reality has eclipsed the truth. It’s like insane Black theories on history that fall apart under the simplest scrutiny, they believe that reality is something they can assert rather than reality is something that asserts itself.
