RIP in prison. Maybe he will have a more successful political career as a deceased martyr.

Man they have been trying to kill this dude for awhile, didn't they try and poison him on a airline but the airline landed in another country to take him to a hospital? He should have never gone back to Russia
He was poisoned, got moved from Omsk to Berlin, and that violated his probation. I think he was in a coma when that happened, not sure.

Probably foresaw the collapse of the Putin system (at least with Putin atop it) and thought he could win the support of the necessary people. Patrushev probably envisaged that Putin is keeping the seat warm for him. Anyhow, RIP.

The system will collapse (or at least wobble mightily) after Putin himself is gone and no sooner. The battle for succession will be an absolute bloodbath since there is no (and at this point probably won't be) an heir apparent.

Yea they failed to take this guy out a few years ago, do you remember the spy and his daughter that were poisoned in Britain a few years ago it was pretty big in the news because a couple of the spy's neighbors died from the poison.

Anyway this guy was poisoned around the same time with the same poison and he just happened to be on an airplane when the poison kicked in, so the pilot took him to another country's hospital and he was in critical care for months.

I assumed they were gonna make his family suffer if he didn't come back because why else would you go back when you know the FSB already tried? The poison they used was high-level stuff that had a history of being used by the KGB and FSB hits which should have made it clear who poisoned him.

Imagine the Russia rightoid Hitler simps like Erik Striker or Mark Collett, in Russia, would be quite the sight.
Don't need to imagine. This neo-nazi fellow was jailed and driven to suicide:

On the other hand, you have people like this:

That's Dmitry Rogozin, who's currently some big shot in the Russian government. Yeah, far right movements used to be somewhat tolerated back in the 00's, but those times had long passed.
