It's because most democrats/leftist are similar to being in a pit of snakes. "Friends" are merely for opportunistic reasons and not serious position titles or just friends until they are ready to be stabbed in the back. Clinton poising attacks for Bernie Sanders awhile back for instance.

I expect that amount to be walked down to practically nothing. And Trump lives in Florida now. How does him not being able to run a company in New York damage him?
He's already done that once or twice.
At least the econ will be decent, possibly. And he'll throw a few bones to the people along the way.

I imagine he’ll appeal and whatnot and then take the hit and move on. I mean, it’s not like he can’t just make more money.

Listen, the man needs that second scoop. I can't take that out of his tiny hands.
There are any number of ways to bypass this sort of ruling and rub the court's face in it in the process. If the "can't be an executive" thing actually sticks, he's still the majority shareholder. He can make himself a non-executive chairman and have a loyal proxy acting in his stead, whose loyalty is maintained by the fact that Trump's majority holding gives him the ability to fire whoever he wants.
I doubt it'll stick, though. It's all a temporary victory, designed to make the participants feel valid and powerful, but it sets such awful precedents for the courts that it will be overturned sooner or later.

There was a post on some forum (maybe Reddit) where a guy said that Tillman kind of quickly resented his choice and used his celebrity status to be a massive cunt. I remember it making rounds a few years ago maybe in like 2015 as an archived post on /k/ with another guy supporting it.
I think the guy alleged that Tillman basically was just pissed that he gave up the NFL for eating MREs in the desert and just started doing shit to try to get into role closer to home. Supposedly just talking shit and not having his radio on. The kill was actually mistaken identity.

The standard rules no longer apply. The DNC machine no longer care the least about keeping up appearances of fairness or justice or even civil discourse, it's all about the power and they are wielding it like a club.
