I love how clever Shane and Pat believe themselves to be when they try to appeal to Leslie using strong emotions. They can’t break this buck and it makes them crazy, for some reason it’s imperative that Leslie join their side. I think the thing that drives them both nuts about Leslie, aside from the fact that she's a "mere female" who dares to defy them, is that she was on their side. I remember seeing her tweets where she was sympathizing with Patrick and scolding the pests for being, well, pests, and then Pat kept on being his usual belligerent asshole self while the pests were friendly to her and she did a complete 180 into Patposting when she realized just how big a joke he was. I don't think Patrick's ego has ever fully recovered from that one, especially because Leslie still has a successful career in spite of his constant rage-xeeting.
